LAKE COMMITTEE

The Lake Committee is to preserve, promote, develop and assist in lake usage and lake activities.
Subjects commonly discussed at the meetings include: skiing, boating, lake rules, lake safety, marina
operations, weed treatment, buoys, fishing and fish habitat. Meetings are held the fourth Wednesday of
each month, 7:00 p.m. at the clubhouse (March—October).

LONG TERM PLANNING COMMITTEE

The purpose of the Long Term Planning Committee is to study the Heritage Lake common properties,
facilities and their usage to determine the future needs of the Heritage Lake Community. Meetings
changed to last Tuesday of each month 6:00 p.m.

SILTATION COMMITTEE

The Siltation Committee reviews issues regarding maintenance, prevention, and removal of siltation from
our waters. These recommendations are given to the Board of Directors. The siltation committee meets
monthly on the 4th Thursday at 7:00 p.m.

ELECTION COMMITTEE

The Election Committee is appointed by the Board of Directors. They solicit candidates to serve as
Directors to fill the vacancies that exist after each Board term ends. They assist the Board in the conduct
of the Association elections, including the dissemination of information regarding candidates for
Director, preparing ballots, sending out ballots, counting ballots, announcing the results, and other related
matters.

GOVERNMENT COMMITTEE

Established in 1995 this Committee attends County Council and Commissioners meetings to establish
and maintain relationships with our locally elected officials. Keeping abreast of issues that affect our
community often proves beneficial to our residents
