c.  Faculty Compensation and Reward

                                  The faculty’s salary rates are based on the provision in NBC 461. Other
                           benefits such as bonuses are determined by existing DBM and CSC policies.
                                  In the University, teaching overloads are limited to 6 units per faculty who
                           must  carry  regular  21  units  of  teaching  load  per  week  or  21  units  of  combined
                           workload. Any excess thereof may entitle them a corresponding overload payment,
                           subject to the availability of funds as provided in the budget allocation for honoraria.
                           In case, there are insufficient funds for the full payment of allowable excess load,
                           the  balance  of  unpaid  excess  load  will  be  converted  to  vacation  service  credits.
                           Faculty researchers who have published in reputable and indexed journals are also
                           given incentives. Below are documents of compensation and reward given to
