E. Regular Monitoring and Evaluation of Teaching Effectiveness
To ensure that the highest quality of education is provided to the students, regular
monitoring and observation of classes were undertaken to further improve teaching effectiveness.
Classroom observations, one announced and one unannounced were done twice per semester.
These were done by the Director for Instruction, the Dean, Department Chairs, or a designated
peer. The criteria on AACCUP observation form were adopted for class observations. Aside from
the class observation done by the assigned personnel, all faculty were also evaluated by students
through the Paperless Student Evaluation for Teachers (PSET) at the end of each semester. Even
during online classes, the College managers join online classes to perform class observations
