Areas Needing Improvement
1. The Skills laboratory has yet to assign a Technician and/or Custodian
as to the survey visit date who performs duties such as maintenance
and safekeeping of the models, equipment, and supplies used in the
RLE.
2. The guidelines for disposing chemicals and other hazardous materials
in the life sciences laboratories must be clearly defined and properly
implemented.
3. Safety features such as the availability of potable/tap water and other
safety equipment are limited in the laboratories.
4. There is a limited available manual in the laboratory that could serve
as a reference for the students.
5. The ratio of ICT equipment, particularly computers in the Computer
Laboratory, will need to be revised for the total populace of the
university.
6. Proper signages of rooms, equipment, and guidelines were fairly
seen/observed in the physical set-up of the university.
