MRS. BRENDA ANN BUTTS (‘B. A.’)
A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Brenda Ann Butts (“B. A.”) of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, will be held on Satur- day, April 17th, 1 p. m. at The Holy Ghost of God Purchased with His Blood, 3613 N. 23rd Street, Bishop Isaac Andrews, Jr., officiating.
Brenda Ann Butts was born July 29, 1953 in Dothan, AL. She enjoyed singing, dancing, great listener, making people laugh, cooking and keeping the family together. She also en- joyed nursing (C.N.A.).
She was preceded in death by: Laura Lee Potter, Waymon Earl Butts, Gwen Thompson, Waymon Earl Butts, Jr., a host of aunts, 1 grandmother, uncle and cousins.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories with: her children, LaTonya Butts, Tuwanda Butts and Calvin Grif- fin, Jr.; grandchildren, Quin- shawna Smith, LaDonna Butts, Darrell Jones, Jr., Ronnie Holder, III and Marie Williams; great-grandchildren, Omari Butts, Ga’Lyani Walker and Ga’Riyah Walker; brother, Rickey Butts; nephew, Waymon Butts, III; cousins, Linda Horne, Ruby Potter, Candice Williams, Angela Ford and Arthur Williams; goddaugh- ters, Shamika Brown, Angela Smart, Felicia Faison, LaKeyster Jones and Shineka Johnson; a host of other family and friends.
The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Fri- day, April 16th from 4 to 8 p. m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service. We are following the CDC guide- lines.

and grandmother, Harriette served her family effortlessly, in countless ways. She lived life in- tentionally, always inspired from the love of those around her. A woman of many talents, and cer- tainly many would attest, that Harriette was both creative and intellectually gifted. She was an excellent homemaker, decorator, cook, sewed at a seamstress level, and had a strong spiritual faith.
Harriette was preceded in death by: her parents, loving hus- band, Freddie Harris; brothers, James M. Bodden, Jr., Robert M. Bodden, Sr., and Dolon M. Bod- den; sisters, Betty Jeanette Bod- den Gray and Beverly Walker Monroe; niece, Elizabeth A. Bod- den and nephew, James M. Bod- den.
Harriette is survived by: her two loving daughters: Marinette Chavers (Leonard) and Monica White; grandchildren: Alexis and Chelsea Chavers, David White; and great- grandchild: Rahmier Gardner; siblings: Joseph W. P. Bodden (Maxine) and Marina B. Pilcher (Ronnie); nieces and nephews: Robert Bodden, Jr., Anthony Bodden (Sonya), Teresa Harris (Barry, Sr.), Brian Bod- den (Suzette), Kennan Bodden, Marina Bodden, Laverne Ivory (Michael, Sr.), Mark Bodden (Lorena), Elizio Bodden (Yan- nie), Karen Humpheries, Joseph Bodden, Jr. (Becky), Shevawn Spencer (Rufus), Tonia Torres (Michael), Eugene Richardson (Stephanie), Kimberly Richard- son, Richard L. MRS. DELORSE THOMPSON OSBORNE
A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Delorse Thompson Osborne of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Thursday, April 08, 2021 will be held on Saturday, April 17th, at 1 p. m. at Aikens Fu- neral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Blvd., Bishop Ronald Anderson, officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Delorse Thompson Os- borne, nickname, “Lois,” was born February 05, 1954, in Tampa, Florida, to her parents, Walter Thompson, Jr., and Willie Mae Starks. She was a de- voted member of Mt. Zion AME Church of Port Tampa. She en- joyed the simple pleasures of life: reading, playing cards, fishing, and road trips.
She was preceded in death by: her father, Walter Thomp- son, Jr.; mother, Willie “Mae” Thompson; sister, Marilynn Pet- tiway, and special companion, Charles Lee Patty.
She leaves many precious memories behind with: her beloved family to include her daughters, Jacqueline Patty and Tamesha Thompson; grandchil- dren, Isls, Dikiem, Dwayne Wig- gins and Urshula and Ronesia Edwards, and Jerel Thompson; great-grandchildren, Davarian, Darian, K’yani, Ja’ Liyah, Ava, Zyin Wiggins and Ma’liya Thompson; brother, Edward Thompson; aunt, “Nellie” Mae Thompson; nieces, Angela Wong Mckinnes and Jamilynn Petti- way; nephews, Edward Charles Thompson, II, and Anthony Starks; cousins, Tommy and Ronald Baker, Nathan Stark, Johnny Bell “JB”, Sharon Scruggs, and Carolyn Williams; friends, Sydney Patterson, Brenda Young, Debbie Broder- ick, and Lynn Hemmingway.

MR. EDWIN JEROD JOHNSON
A Visitation Service for Mr. Edwin Jerod Johnson will be held6p.m.to8p.m.onThurs- day, April 15, 2021 at Integrity Funeral Services, 3822 E. 7th Av- enue, Tampa. A Military Honors Service will be held Friday, April 16, 2021 at 1:30 p. m. at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, Florida.
Mr. Edwin Jerod Johnson was born September 15, 1952, to the late Mrs. Catherine Davis. He we raised by his mother and stepfather in Tampa, FL.
In Edwin’s young adult years, he served in the United States Air Force as a Staff Ser- geant. He retired a civil service employee as a Chief Contracting Officer.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sis- ter. He was called to rest on March 26, 2021.
He leaves behind the follow- ing: one son, Reginald Johnson of Lowell, MA; three daughters, Cheryl Johnson of Warner Robins, GA; Jillian (David) Wal- ton, of Ludowici, GA; Brianna Johnson of Fitzgerald, GA; one stepdaughter, Zahida Gilkes of Fitzgerald, GA; seven grandchil- dren; two brothers of Tampa, FL; along with a host of other relatives and friends (Jeannette D. Anderson, Timothy V. John- son, Arther Johnson, Gibert Johnson, Walter Johnson, Shannon Johnson, Scott A. Johnson, Dawn N. Johnson, Ellen Anne Johnson, Karen J Johnson, and Dwayne K. John- son).

         MRS. HARRIETTE BODDEN HARRIS
A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Harriette Bodden Harris of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Tuesday, April 06, 2021, will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2021, at 11 a. m. at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, 1203 N. Nebraska Ave., Father Hugh Chickawe, officiating. The inter- ment will be in Rest Haven Me- morial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Harriette Mercedes Harris was born May 6, 1940, in Tampa, FL. She was the fourth of seven siblings, born to the late James McKinley Bodden, Sr. and Marina Rosalie Bodden.
Harriette completed her for- mal education in Tampa, where she attended St. Peter Claver Catholic School and Middleton Senior High School. She went on to Xavier University, in New Or- leans, LA, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Registered Pharmacy. After col- lege, Harriette returned to Tampa, and married Coach Charles J. White. She was one of Florida’s first African American female Registered Pharmacists. She spent her early career serv- ing the communities of Jackson Heights and West Tampa through Morrison and Eagle Drug Stores. Harriette later ad- vanced in several areas of phar- macy including hospital, retail/management, and indus- trial pharmacy with such em- ployers as St. Joseph’s and Good Samaritan Hospitals, Super X Drug Stores and National Rx, re- spectively.
