IN MEMORIAM
OTIS WHITE, SR. (Oatmeal)
June 27, 1946 – April 17, 2018
THE DAY YOU WENT AWAY
They say that time’s a healer, but as the times go on, I seem to find it just as hard to face the fact you’ve gone.
And today, it’s the 3rd An- niversary of the day that you went away, and I’m standing here at your graveside, and believe me when I say,
You’ll never be forgotten. And every year I’ll shed a tear, but it’s only because I love you, and wish you were still here.
Your wife, Leah.

IN LOVING MEMORY OF YOUR BIRTHDAY
HELEN B. STANBACK (Granny)
April 16, 1931 – June 17, 2016
Today’s just one of many days that always make me sad. For I know it’s too late to say the things I wish I had, you see. I wish I’d told you far more often that I cared, and that I was so grateful for the happy times we’d shared. And times passed since the day you left, but still I’m asking, why you couldn’t have stayed for longer and we had to say goodbye. And now your birth- day’s here, all there is left to do is hope that heaven lets you know how much I’m missing you.
Your daughter, Ann.
