MS. SHERYL DENISE BLAYLOCK
Ms. Sheryl Denise Blaylock of Tampa, FL passed away Wednes- day, April 7th, 2021. Funeral serv- ices will be conducted Saturday, April 17th, at 2 p. m. at New Begin- ning Ministries of Tampa, 11323 N. Nebraska Avenue, with Rev. Phillip F. Readon, officiating. In- terment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Please follow the CDC Guidelines. Masks are required.
Ms. Sheryl Denise Blaylock was a native and resident of Tampa, Florida for 66 years. She was a graduate of Florida Metro- politan University, attended New Beginnings Ministries of Tampa and was a devoted member of From Tragedy to Triumph Min- istries. She pursued her passion of working with youth and chil- dren as an employee of the State as well as the Juvenile Detention Sys- tem for over 15 years.
She is preceded in death by: her parents, Henry Charles Blay- lock and Doretha Holmes Blay- lock.
She leaves to cherish her lov- ing memory: loving and devoted children, Shemeka Archer- Grundy (Jason) and Sean Blay- lock; goddaughters, Brittney Gardner and Kesha Chapman; two sisters, Laverne Blaylock-Clark (deceased, Bill) and Linda Blay- lock-Huggins (John, Sr.); four brothers, Ronald Blaylock (Cas- sandra), Michael Blaylock, Fred Blaylock (Robin) and Andre Blay- lock; a host of nieces and nephews, Kasey (fiance’, Nikki), Ashley (Michael), Ronald, Jr., De- onte’, Deshawnte’, Shanika, John, Jr., Jae’, Jovie, Makiah, Marsheena, Lauren (John), Jor- dyn, Quanisha, Andre, Jr., Shaquanda, Angela, Devondrea, Talesia, Trechelle, and Treale; in- cluding family, Sonja Moreland- Jackson (Jim), life-long, sister friend, Veronica Baity (Morgan); close family friends, Anita Moore (Keenan), Linda Brantley, Flora Triplett, Ann Martin, Cassandra Blackmon-Blaylock, Mequilla Penny, Sheryl West (Monique), Rhonda Jackson, Roneisa Leath; a host of close friends and relatives to include: the Holmes, the Scotts, the Johnson and Rita Christopher and family of Los Angeles, Califor- nia.

Mary Liz Davis was a native of Tampa, FL, born to Silas and Henrietta Davis. She was edu- cated in the public schools of Hillsborough County, and worked in the dry cleaning busi- ness for over 20 years. After her time of employment, Mary took great pride in spending time and caring for her grandchildren.
Mary was preceded in death by: her parents, Silas and Henri- etta Davis; 2 brothers, Jimmy Davis and Silas Davis, Jr.; and 1 granddaughter, Zurie Davis.
She leaves to cherish her memory: 4 children, Cecilia Carlton (Brian), Earl Carlton, Jr. (Quan), Jokshon Davis (Jessica), and Markeyce Davis; 16 grand- children, Shaquille, Khalique, Jahmal, Quanteajya, Jarshawn, Dasha, Temarcus, Tiyanna, India, Patience, Keymarie, Au- marie, Jaycie, Lorenzo, Nijae and expecting Silas; 6 great- grandchildren, Jar’siah, Jar’riah, Ja’mari, Jar’quez, Jar- shawn and Dorian; special fam- ily members, Louise, David, Mattie, Cheryl, Victor, and Randy; her additional children, Calvin, Chaka, Sam, Samara, and Toya; her beloved dog, Shula (Bang-Bang), and a host of other family and friends.

MR. WILLIAM ROY WHETSTONE, SR.
Mr. William Roy Whetstone, Sr. of Tampa passed away Mon- day, April 12, 2021. Private fu- neral services will be held Saturday, April 17, 2021.
Mr. William Roy Whetstone, Sr. was a native of Eclectic, Ala- bama, born to the parentage of the late Fletcher and Clady Whetstone. He received his edu- cation in the public schools of El- more County.
Mr. Whetstone was a mem- ber of Brown’s Memorial Church of God In Christ, here in Tampa, Florida, and he worked as a Block Mason for 50 years. Mr. Whetstone was a de- voted and caring husband to his wife, Willie B. Whetstone, for over 50 years.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Fletcher and Clady Whetstone; sister, Josie Wax; brothers, Clady Whetstone, and Lawrence Whetstone; daughter, Barbara Sampson; and grand- son, Antonio Powell.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Willie B. Whetstone; his children, Jacci McCloud, William Roy Whet- stone, Jr., Terry Whetstone, Billy Whetstone, and Wanda Powell; sister, Annie Bell Williams; a host of grandchil- dren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, who he loved dearly and a host of other relatives and friends.

Ms. Rose Marilyn Williams, of Tampa, passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2021. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, April 17, at 11 a. m, at Mount Tabor Mis- sionary Baptist Church, 2606 W. Grace Street, with Pastor T. D. Leonard, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memo- rial Park Cemetery. Please follow the CDC Guidelines. Masks are required.
Ms. Rose Marilyn Williams, affectionately known as “Mama Rose,” was a native and lifelong resident of Tampa, Florida and was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County. Ms. Williams was a member of Mt. Tabor M. B. Church and was the proud owner and Catering Chef of Mama Rose Kitchen.
She was preceded in death by: parents, Leroy and Ruby Williams; brother, Dockey; sis- ters, Willie, Patricia and Barbara; godsister, Viola; great grand- daughter, Je’hyrah; aunt, Lessie; and uncles, Willie and Woodrow.
She leaves to cherish her memory: longtime companion, James Tate; children, Latarchia (John), Leonardo, and Lagee; grandchildren, Sequia, Rashard (Shenkia), Javareia, Shakayla, Javonna, Jolicia, Bria, Maurica, Khalil, and Laylarose; 15 great- grandchildren; sisters, Carrie and Shirley; brother, Nathaniel (Brenda); godsister, Ruby; nieces, Katrina, Tameka (Dar- ian), Veronica, Felita, Paralee, Lakesia, Marketta, and Harryan; nephews, Dontae, Richard, Carl, Lil John (Linda), Joel, and Lon- nie; and a great host of cousins, extended family members and friends of the community.

REV. HENRY S. BYRON
Graveside funeral services for Rev. Henry S. Byron, who passed away in a local hospital on Saturday, April 10th, will be held Saturday at 2 P. M. at Or- ange Hill Cemetery, 4900 E. Chelsea Street, Tampa, Florida, with Pastor Dr. Debra Comellas of New Testament Worship Cen- ter, officiating.
Henry was born in Plant City, Florida in 1936. He was a graduate of Middleton High School and also an Army Vet- eran of the Korean War. Rev. Byron retired from Cargill Chemicals after 40 years of service.
Rev. Henry S. Byron was a member of New Testament Worship Center. Being a strong servant of the Lord, Rev. Byron spent over 50 years in the vol- unteer service of prison min- istries. He coordinated the Abe Brown Ministries’ local jail min- istry at Orient and Falkenburg Road Jails as well as the Juve- nile Detention Center. Rev. Byron also held a weekly com- munity Bible study at the 29th Avenue building.
Rev. Henry S. Byron was preceded in death by: his wife of 60 years, Elouise Byron and his parents, Benjamin and Sallie Byron.
Henry leaves to mourn his passing with: his daughters, Marcia Hair (Claudy), Sallye Pierre-Louis (Claude), Patricia Byron and Marlene Newton (Michael); grandchildren, Carey Byron (Persephanie), Erica Hill, Precely Davis, III, Henry Davis (Teneka), Tiffany Sierra (Daniel), Patrick Pen- nington (Monique), Belaye Pen- nington (Horace), and Marcus Fuller (Bre); a host of great grandchildren; nieces, Dr. Gay Byron and Carla Thomas; nephew, Dennard Thomas; sis- ter-in-law, Ruby Thomas; brother- in-law, Willie Terrell and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 3-8 p. m. on Friday, April 16, 2021, at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th St., Tampa, Florida 33605.
