Ok....Chance The Rapper Premieres New Music Video On Facebook Live
Chance The Rapper is doing his thing with no limits. His newest video was given to his fans via hisFacebook Live featuring one of the puppets from his tour.
Chance first made the offi- cial announcement of the re- lease in a tweet. After rolling out a 10-minute countdown, “Same Drugs” then pre- miered on the rapper’s Face- book Live page.
The video opens with Chance wearing one of his signature “3” caps while play- ing the piano on a stage and features the puppets that joined the rapper on the road for the Magnificent Coloring World Tour.
As for the footage, it looks like a rough cut from one of the ’90s PBS programs like The Muppets or Sesame Street.
The element of surprise will never go out of style, espe- cially when it’s tied to a pre- miere. Chance The Rapper randomly gifted us a brand-new music video, but,
it appears, he didn’t want to do it the old-fashioned way through a publication part- ner. Instead, the 23-year-old opted for one of his own plat- forms on social media.
The 59th Annual Grammy Awards will host tributes to Prince and George Michael.

The ceremony broadcasts from 8 p.m. Eastern this Sun- day.
Sources indicate that Prince’s music will finally become available on stream- ing services on the night.

Another screening is set for New York next week.
Empowering the under- privileged has also been a byproduct of the film’s Oscar success in many ways.
“I’m getting messages from people back home in Miami now, people living in the
world you see depicted in this film,” Jenkins said on a re- cent episode of Variety‘s “Playback” podcast. “I think when you watch this movie, you don’t assume that Chi- ron is going to grow up and be nominated for two Acad- emy Awards, and I think peo- ple look at me and they see that happen, and their idea of what they are capable of is shifting. That’s amazing. What’s possible is shifting and it’s a beautiful thing.”
“Moonlight” was nomi- nated for eight Academy Awards including best pic- ture, best director, best sup- porting actor, best supporting actress, best adapted screenplay, best cin- ematography, best film edit- ing and best original score.
