DEACONESS REGAINER GIBBONS ‘BABY SISTER’
A homegoing celebration for Deaconess Regainer Gib- bons, affectionately known as “Baby Sister,” of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Monday, February 6, 2017 will be held on Saturday, February 11th, 11 a. m. at New Friendship M. B. Church, 3201 E. Lake Avenue, Rev. H. L. Daniels, pastor, officiating. The inter- ment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Deaconess Regainer was born and raised in Green- wood, FL, moved to St. Louis, Missouri and later settled in Tampa. Mrs. Regainer loved her family, loved to shop, travel and enjoyed working with the Head Start Program as a Foster Grandparent.
She was baptized at an early age and joined the Hoskie Baptist Church, Greenwood, FL. She was a member of New Friendship M. B. Church and remained a faithful member until her homegoing. She retired after many years of service from the Hillsborough County School System.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, George and Ella Barnes; adopted parents, John and Bessie Ferrell; sis- ters, Alice, Mary and Martha Barnes, Mary Smith, Vera Lewis and Pellie Brown; mother-in-law, Lois Williams; sister-in-law, Mary Washing- ton; and brother-in-law, Joe Gibbons, Jr.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories with: her husband, Elijah Gibbons; children, Jacquelyne Brown (Donald), Frederick Barnes (Ruth), Reginald Cusic (Kim- berly), Belinda Brown (fiancé, Geremi), Leon Cusic (Wak- ena) and Bridgette Cusic; grandchildren, Dwanayshia, Fredrick, Jr., Michael, Dono- van, Winifred, Brandon and Alisha; great-grandchildren, Ayshiona, Jeremiah, Jr., Jada, Terrance, Jaden and Ja- lynn; sisters, Ora McGivery, Ruthie Barnes and Ella Williams; sisters-in-law, Carol Mathis (Billy) and Ethel Chapman; aunt, Betty Harvey; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; goddaughters, Tasha and Angeletta; church family, Rev. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, February 10, from 5 - 8 p. m. The family will receive friends from 5 - 6 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Sat- urday for the service.

MRS. CHRISTINE JONES MCCLENDON
Homegoing celebration for Mrs. Christine Jones McClendon, who passed away Sunday, February 5, 2017, will be held Saturday, February 11, 2017, at 2 p. m. at New Hope M. B. Church, 3005 E. Ellicott St., Tampa, FL 33610, and Rev. Otis Cooper of New Rising Star M. B. Church officiating. The committal will be made after the words of comfort.
Christine Jones McClen- don was born May 4, 1945 in Ft. Myers, FL, to Mack Henry Jones and Lula B. Love. She attended Dunbar High School in Ft. Myers, FL. She moved to Tampa, in the early 1970s. She at- tended a local Pentecostal Church where she was very active. Her passion was serving the community. She loved praying, singing, walking and playing with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews and neighborhood children.
Mrs. McClendon was preceded in death by: her parents, Mack Henry Jones and Lula B. Love; 5 broth- ers, Bennie James Under- wood, Willie Eugene Love, twin brothers, Paul Love and Silas Love, Larry Grim- sley; 1 sister, Luella Love; and sister-in-law, Jackie Grimsley.
Those left to cherish her memories are: her eldest son, Wilbur Brown, Jr.; her loving daughter, Michelle Allen; her sons, Stephone Jones and Reginald Mc- Clendon; grandchildren, Tanisha, Veronica, Van- nessa, Will and Eva, Ardail, Arielle, Aaliyah, Michelle, Raven, Reggiesha, Yah- Mari, Yah-Lyrie, Yah-Keen, Quantavis, Stephone, Di- aundra, Jasmine, Sean- Michael, Jeremy; several great-grandchildren; sis- ters, Martha Adams (Roger Loggins) and Johnnie Mae Vixamar; and 1 brother, Willie Kelvin Gordon; a spe- cial niece, Laquita (Keith); special nephews, Lil Larry, and Lil Calvin; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other sorrowing rela- tives and friends.
Visitation for Mrs. Christine Jones McClendon will be held this Friday evening from 5-8 p. m. The funeral processional will arrange at 1:45 p. m. on Sat- urday.

MS. JANDALYNNE WILLIAMS ‘POOH’
Ms. Jandalynne Williams, bka “ Pooh,” went home to Glory on January 31, 2017. She was born in Tampa, FL on September 5, 1972; the daughter of the late Mr. Jack and Mrs. Yvonne Williams, Jr. In ‘93, she graduated from King High School.
Although she battled in her health many years; “Pooh” remained steadfast, unmovable and abounded in God’s grace and love to- wards her family and friends alike.
She will repose from 10 a. m. until service time at 11 a. m. at the First Mount Carmel Church, 4406 N. 26th Street, Tampa.
She leaves a loving legacy with: 3 brothers, Marlin Williams, Eric Williams and Anthony Williams (Felicia); 3 sisters, Towanda Covington (Alonzo), Jacqueline Williams and Belinda Brooks; a son Aaron “Mister” Robinson; nieces, Megan Williams Dunlop (Aaron), Nadia Williams (Nick), Tatyana Williams, Tyeshia Denson (Derrick), Sonya Brooks (Herman), Kennae Hankerson, Ebony Evans, Sharhonda “Piggy,” Lanzasa “Fatgirl,” Jaquita “Mz. A celebration of life for Ms. Sabrina Yvette King, who transitioned on Janu- ary 31, 2017 at a local health facility, will be held Satur- day, February 11, 2017, 12 p. m. at House of Prayer Eter- nal Ministries, 1301 S. 78th Street (located behind the Dollar General), Elder Aaron Harris, Sr. Pastor- Teacher, officiating.
Ms. Sabrina Yvette King was born December 10, 1957 in Tampa, Florida to Mr. Jeddie King and Ms. Janie Belle Chambers. She was a lifelong resident of Tampa and was educated in the public schools of Hillsbo- rough County. Sabrina was baptized at an early age and received Jesus Christ as her personal Savor. She was a member of Faith Temple A. M. E. Church.
She was preceded in death by: her mother, Ms. Janie Belle Chambers; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ellis and Emma King; broth- ers, Martin Chambers, Jerome King, Ellis King, and Jeddie King Jr.

Mrs. Rose Marie Wicks, age 51, of Riverview, FL, passed peacefully at home surrounded by family on Saturday, January 28, 2017.
A native of Bradley Junc- tion, FL, she leaves to che- rish her life: her loving husband, Darron E. Wicks; children, Kiahna and Dar- ron, Jr.; mother, Catherine Cargile; sisters, Angela Pearson, Pam Cowans, Valarie (Bruce) Ewing and Tandra Davis; brothers, Kevin (Darlette) Pearson, Curtis Cargile, Dwayne Cargile and Johnny C. Cargile; uncle, James Ward; aunt, Grace Jenkins; nephews, Kevin (Kasha) Pearson and Kevin D. Pear- son; nieces, Mary K. Pear- son and Kaylin Pearson; numerous other aunts, un- cles, nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren, fam- ily and friends.
Rose will always be re- membered for her infec- tious smile and willingness to always put the needs of others before her own.
Her celebration of life and viewing will be held at First Baptist Church of Progress Village, 8722 Progress Blvd., Tampa, FL 33619 on Friday, February 10,from6p.m.to8p.m. Her funeral will be held Sat- urday, February 11, at 12 p. m. at the same location. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a cancer charity of one’s choice.
