MS. SHANDORA HUDSON
Ms. Shandora Hudson, 55, who passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 29, 2017 with her family by her side after a long illness, went home to be with her Lord and Savior. Home- going celebration will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 10 a. m. at Center For Manifesta- tion, 3102 E. Lake Avenue, Tampa, FL, Apostle Mark T. Jones, Sr., Pastor, with Rev. Aubrey Hodges, officiating. In- terment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Shandora leaves a lifetime of cherished memories with: her 3 loving sons, Keynodo Hudson (Yvonne) Bellflower, CA, Otis Brinson, Tampa, and Grant Brinson (Hannah) Charleston, WV; grandchildren, Karim, Keira, Kayla, Keaunna and Iyanna; sisters, Juanita Durden, Louisville, GA and Maureen Jones-Slew, Tampa, FL; broth- ers, Barion Grant (Charlotte), Dallas TX, John Hudson, John Paul Hudson, John Hudson and Johnathan Hudson, all of Tampa; uncle, Henry Hudson, Beaufort, SC; a host of nieces and nephews including, Antawan, Javon, Tasha, Tony and Deion; cousins, Domonique, Nicole, Sabrina and a host of other relatives and friends.
Shandora was born in Tampa, to the parentage of the late John Hudson and Daisy (Grant) Hodges on January 1, 1962. She attended Brandon High School and later attended Florida College where she ob- tained an Associate Degree. She also completed a Cosmetology program at Wilfred Academy.
Shandora was a member of St. John Progressive Missionary Baptist Church. She worked for Busch Gardens for over ten years and was a State of Florida Employee for over 15 years. Shandora was a faithful Chris- tian, devoted mother and grand- mother. She was a kind, loving soul who enjoyed watching sports, movies, playing cards and spending time with family and friends.
There will be a viewing on Friday, February 10, 2017 from 5–8 p. m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa. Friends are asked to as- semble at the church at approxi- mately 9:45 a. m. Saturday for the service.

Retired Educator Dies Following Brief Illness

A longtime Tampa edu- cator passed following a brief illness. Mrs. Martha F. Kinsey, who passed at Kindred Hospital on Febru- ary 1st, was 71-years-old.
The daughter of Jeff and Lucille Farmer, Mrs. Kinsey was a native of Shorterville, Alabama, and attended the public schools of Henry County, Alabama. She was also very active at the New Salem Baptist Church in her hometown during her childhood.
After graduating from Cash Grace High School as its valedictorian, Mrs. Kin- sey entered the workforce. She later earned her degree in Business Education from Alabama State University.
It was there that Mrs. Kinsey met and married her husband, Emmitt Kin- sey.
The couple moved to Tampa and Mrs. Kinsey was hired as a classroom teacher by the Hillsborough County School District. She was assigned to Horace Mann Junior High School as a Business Education in- structor and remained at that facility for 29 years.
During her tenure as an educator, Mrs. Kinsey also taught night school at King High School.

She was later assigned to Wharton High School as a Business Education Instruc- tor. Mrs. Kinsey retired in 2006 after 35 years of serv- ice.
A member of Phi Delta Kappa Sorority, Inc., she was an active member of Mount Olive Baptist Church, where she participated in numerous activities. Mrs. Kinsey was also a member of several professional or- ganizations, the Eastern Stars and other organiza- tions.
Mrs. Kinsey is survived by two sons, Emmitt, Jr., and Anthony Kinsey, sib- lings, and other family members.
Funeral services for Mrs. Kinsey will take place on Saturday. Ray Williams Funeral Home is in charge of handling arrangements.
