Two Sought In Family Dollar Robbery
Police Seek Suspects Using Stolen Credit Card
Tampa Police are cur- rently searching for two men who used a compromised credit card last November. The incidents took place be- tween November 7 and No- vember 14, 2016, at Grow Financial Credit Union ATM machines in Tampa, Lake- land, and Bradenton. The men made several with- drawals using the same credit card. The withdrawals were eventually charged back be- cause the card was not valid.
Since the illegal activity began in November, police said the Credit Union has suf- fered a loss of $35,260.00.

Stolen Credit Card Used At Businesses
police said the stolen credit card was used at the Shell Sta- tion, 2924 N. 50th Street and the Dollar General, 3110 50th Street, shortly after the burgla- ries were committed.

Two young men are being sought in connection with a robbery of a Family Dollar, 7511 N. 56th Street, on Febru- ary 4th.
According to the Hillsbor- ough County Sheriff’s Office, the two men entered the store and immediately demanded money. One of the men was armed with a handgun. The gun appeared to be equipped with a laser sight.
After the robbery, the sus- pects fled on foot, but police said they believe a car was parked nearby.
Approximately 8 minutes later, two suspects fitting the same description travelled to the Family Dollar, 4978 E. Busch Blvd., and attempted another robbery. They did not
receive any cash at that loca- tion, police said.
The first suspect is de- scribed as wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, a red knit cap and black pants.
The second suspect is de- scribed as wearing a black long sleeved shirt, a black shirt around his mouth and nose, sunglasses, and black pants.
Both appeared to be be- tween the ages of 17 and 24, and both were said to have a thin build and stood about 5’7”.

Card Stolen
From Car
Detectives with the Tampa Police Department are currently searching for a person who has been using a stolen credit card. The card was removed from an un- locked vehicle on January 1st, at 4545 Himes Avenue.
According to police, the suspect removed a purse con- taining the credit card inside. The purse also contained jewelry, cash, and identifica- tion.
Video from the Home Depot Stores at 8815 N. Florida Avenue and 5125 S. Dale Mabry shows the same Black female using the card. She was in her 30s, wearing a light colored dress, and hold- ing a baby. She was accompa- nied by a Black male with long dreads tied back in a pony tail. They purchased electronic tools in both stores.
The suspects were ob- served leaving in a light blue 2000s model Mercury Grand Marquis.

The Hillsborough Sheriff’s Office is currently searching for two men in connection with a stolen credit card. The card was taken after a car was bro- ken into on January 24th.
Police said several cards were broken into in the Lakes of Wellington subdivision on that day. A Ford Edge was also stolen from the adjoining Wellington Manor subdivision.

Traffic Stop Ends With Crash Into Polk County
What began as a traffic stop in Lakeland Tuesday quickly became a high speed chase that ended in a traffic crash in Polk County. The two occupants of the car were treated at local hospitals.
According to the Plant City Police Department, officers attempted to stop a white 2012 Kia Forte Wednesday af- ternoon. Instead of stopping, the driver intentionally struck the police cruiser and fled the scene.
Plant City police at- tempted to stop the car on several occasions, but the driver refused to stop. The pursuit, which began at Alexander Street and
Reynolds Street, continued on State Road 400 towards Lake- land. The pursuit was termi- nated and information was forwarded to other law en- forcement agencies.
Officers with the Lakeland Police Department attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver fled. The vehicle con- tinued to flee, but crashed after entering Polk City.
The female passenger was removed from the car and transported to the Lakeland Regional Medical Center, with unknown injuries. The driver was taken into custody.
Police have not identified either of the two people in the car.
