Mary J. Blige Reflects On ‘My Life’ In New Documentary Trailer
Blair Underwood, Desiree DaCosta Split After 27 Years Of Marriage: 'A Beautiful Journey'
Mary J. Blige reflects on her influential album My Life in the trailer for upcoming documentary Mary J. Blige’s My Life. Directed by Oscar- winning filmmaker Vanessa Roth, the film arrives on June 25th via Amazon Prime Video. In the new trailer, the singer discusses her early days and how writing music was a means to escape her surround- ings. “The only thing I think that kept us guided was the music,” she says. “It just saved you.”
In between footage of her performing and in the studio, Blige opens up about the making of 1994’s My Life, which made Rolling Stone‘s “The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time” list. “My Life is probably my darkest album at

one of the darkest times I’ve had,” she explains. “Most of the times I was depressed and didn’t want to live.”
The film also features Blige performing the album live for the first time in celebration of its 25th anniversary.
Blair Underwood and his wife Desiree DaCosta are di- vorcing after nearly three decades of marriage.
Last Sunday, the 56-year-old actor and his wife, who share three children together, an- nounced in a joint statement on Instagram that they are calling it quits after 27 years of marriage.
"After a tremendous amount of thought, prayer & work on ourselves individually & collec- tively, we have come to the conclusion to end our marriage that began 27 years ago," they wrote.

Basketball Wives O.G. cast member Evelyn Lozada offi- cially announced her exit from the hit VH1 reality series during an exclusive interview with E! News' Daily Pop on June 2. "I am no longer going to do Bas- ketball Wives," Lozada shared with co-host Justin Sylvester. "I think that it's time for me to open up the universe to other things."

Evelyn Lozada Announces She's Leaving Basketball Wives After 9 Seasons
The brother of rapper Lil Durk has been found dead, officials confirmed, but a cause of death remains un- clear.
The body of OTF DThang, whose real name was Dontay Banks Jr., was discovered in Chicago over the weekend, TMZ reported, citing Cook County authorities.
He was 32.
Unconfirmed reports that reference witnesses say Banks, who was also a rap- per, was outside a club when he got shot in the head, ac- cording to TMZ.
Officials, however, have not released such details, and an autopsy reportedly still needs to be conducted.
