Shooting Suspect Faces First-Degree Murder Charge
  A 45-year-old man was arrested Friday night. He is facing a first-degree murder charge.
According to the Tampa Police Department, officers responded to the area of Main Street and Rome Av- enue in reference to shots being fired. When the officers arrived, they observed an adult male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The unidentified man was transported to a local hospital, where he died as a

result of his injuries.
During the investigation,
detectives spoke with wit- nesses and were able to de- velop probable cause that Timothy Fulgiam Weeks was the person who fired the fatal shots.
Weeks was taken into custody Friday night by the U. S. Marshal’s Task Force and charged with premedi- tated first-degree murder and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
He is being held at the Hillsborough County Jail without bond.
  Detectives Investigating Two Deaths In Riverview
 Detectives with the Hills- borough County Sheriff’s Of- fice are investigating two deaths. The investigation began Monday morning. They are investigating the deaths as a murder-suicide.
According to police, deputies were dispatched to the 6000 block of Cypress- dale Drive, in Riverview, after receiving a call from a man who said his friend FaceTimed him and said he killed a man he described as his partner.
Deputies attempted to make contact with the sus- pect, 30-year-old Keith Jackson, but he refused to exit the residence. In re- sponse, HCSO’s SWAT Team was activated and Crisis Ne- gotiators continued de-esca- lation efforts.

 of the residence. The Hillsborough County Fire Rescue responded to the scene and two deceased adult males were discovered inside the apartment. The victim is an adult, Black man in his late twenties to early thirties.
Police have not released
any additional information about the case.

Hillsborough County Sheriff said, “We are saddened by the violence displayed today by the suspect, and the loss of life.
“Our team made every at- tempt to get the suspect to surrender peacefully. De- spite the outcome, we wit- nessed a phenomenal display of patience and pro- fessionalism from the men and women of the Hillsbor- ough County Sheriff’s Office who worked this incident for several hours, as well as the Hillsborough County fire- fighters who extinguished the fire as rapidly as possible to prevent any danger or risk to the public.”
