Soulja Boy Arrested After Police Raid Home For Guns
Common And Serena Back Together On ESPN Special
COMMON AND SERENA Rapper Common and his
former girlfriend, Serena Williams are back together – for a new ESPN special.
The pair, who dated for two years, but broke up in 2010, will be part of an ESPN series called “The Undefeated In- Depth: Serena with Com- mon.”
The two ex-lovers sit down for a candid discussion about Serena’s career, being an African-American woman at the top of her game, social is- sues and “body shaming,” which impacted Serena early on in her career.
Soulja Boy was arrested Thursday (December 15) when police found a gun in- side his Hollywood Hills home, TMZ reports.
Authorities were alerted that the rapper had been threatening people online with videos where he was tot- ing guns. Last week, Soulja made headlines for threaten- ing Quavo with a diss track and accompanying IG clip threatening him with an AK- 47. He also recently put a bounty on Chicago rapper Rico Recklezz, which he later retracted.
Soulja Boy is on probation for a 2014 case where he pleaded no contest for a charge of “unlawfully carry- ing a loaded firearm.” Ac-

cording to his probation, he is not allowed to have guns in his possession.
Master P Signs 16-Year-Old To No Limit Records
Master P took to Insta- gram on last Monday (De- cember 12) to announce No Limit Records‘ latest signee, 16-year-old Houston native Marqus Clae. Along with the video, the Southern rap veteran wrote, “ITS OFFI- CIAL MY YOUNGSTA FROM H-TOWN JUST JOINED THE TEAM.”
And there’s high expecta- tions for the new artist.
“He’s gonna be as great as Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole if he keeps working hard,” Master P said in a re- lease.
The No Limit roster already includes artists like Ace B, Moe Roy, Lambo, King Roy, J-Slugg, Nano, and Blaqnmild, and Clae’s ad- dition to the group only adds more cohesiveness to the team, according to the Ice

Cream Man.
Clae is preparing to release
his debut album, The Ghetto Poet, which is expected to ar- rive in the very near future. For now, his latest single, “South Texas.”
Denzel’s ‘Fences’ Soars; Will’s ‘Collateral Beauty’ Bombs
Denzel Washington and Viola Davis star in ‘Fences’. Will Smith in ‘Collateral Beauty’.
It looks like Denzel Washington has another hit on his hands. This weekend, his Paramount Pictures’ re- leased drama “Fences” made an estimated $128,000 from four locations in New York and Los Angeles.
“Fences” also stars Viola Davis, Jovan Adepo, Stephen McKinley Hen- derson, Russell Hornsby, Mykelti Williamson, and newcomer Saniyya Sidney, who was profiled on EUR, here.
Look for “Fences” to open through out the US and North America on Christmas Day.
While things are looking up
for “Fences” and Denzel, the picture is not quite the same for Will Smith and his latest release, “Collateral Beauty.”
To put it bluntly, it’s an- other bomb for Smith.
In its nationwide debut weekend, “Beauty” only brought in $7 million. The film represents another not so good look for Smith when you count his box-office dis- appointments such as 2013’s “After Earth” and last year’s crime dramedy “Focus,” “Beauty” is another unattrac- tive result in the actor’s re- sume that has grown worryingly heavy with more misses than hits.
Man Involved In L’A Capone’s Murder Gets 45 Years
A man who was involved in the shooting death of rapper L’A Capone in 2013, is look- ing at a long stretch behind bars.
A judge has sentenced Meiko Buchanan to 45 years in prison, for his role in the September 2013 shooting.
Authorities say that Buchanan admitted to driv- ing a “tail car” to insulate the lead car that was traveling in front of him, filled with gun- men looking for L’A Capone.
According to Buchanan, he watched the shooter roll up on L’A Capone as the rapper was leaving a recording studio.
After a struggle in an alley, L’A Capone was shot twice – once in the back and once in the thigh.
L’A Capone was fatally shot in 2013.
Two other men that ob- tained a gun for the unknown shooter are slated to go on trial next week, and in Febru- ary of 2017.
