Mt. Moriah P. B. Church Celebrates 130th Church Anniversary
Pastors Offer Prayers For The Holidays
Greater Mt. Moriah Primi- tive Baptist Church, Inc. held its 130th Church Anniversary October 23rd with 8 a. m. and 11 a. m. services, including Church School.
The Church Anniversary theme was: “Celebrating 130 Years of the Church Built on a Rock,” taken from Matthew 16:18.
The pastor, Rev. Dr. B. R. Fulton, Jr., was the messen- ger for the day. Our Voices of
Inspiration Choir sang and the Youth Ushers served.
Medallions were given as tokens of love and apprecia- tion for dedication and serv- ice to those members who turned 75 years or older.
Fellowship and dinner was enjoyed by all following the service.

These same Pastors who regularly pray for us, have a personal duty to remain spiritually connected through individual study and private prayer. In the spirit of the season, we asked some local minis- ters, “What is your prayer for the Holidays and the New Year?”

Rev. Larry Roundtree, II, Pastor, New Mt. Zion M. B. Church, said, “My prayer is that God will stir the hearts of Christians to be more committed to shar- ing the love of Christ with others.”
Rev. Dr. James Gal- lon, Pastor of Christian Praise and Worship Cen- ter stated, “I pray that we, as a people, began to see and understand the true power of God. That God’s love blesses our youth to understand their purpose in His plan. My prayer is that we can look back and

see the blessings of our past; the anointing of our present; and the favor in our future. Amen”
REV. PAUL BUSTER
Pastor Paul Buster, Pastor, New Macedonia M. B. Church, affirmed, his prayer for the Holidays and New Year is for, “Peace on Earth, and that God’s will be done and that everyone be willing and able to accept His will.”

Neely, Senior Pastor/Founder at New Millennium Community Church, said, “My payer for the holidays is that Christians would embrace the incarnation of Jesus Christ and understand that He is ‘God with us,’ therefore, we are never re- ally alone.
“My prayer for the New Year is that all churches in a spirit of unity would once again embrace the great commission and reach out to the lost and hurting people in Tampa Bay.”
PASTOR CARNELL UPSHAW
Pastor Carnell Up- shaw, Pastor of Covenant Catalytic Church, ex- pressed, “My prayer and hope is that we as leaders, teach the people of God, the truth about God’s Word. I have learned that the more truth you learn about Scripture, the more you will love our Savior Jesus Christ. And the more you love Him the more you will obey Him. My purpose is to help the people of God to know the truth, and learn as much as possible about the Bible and God’s will for their life.”
