USAmeriBank recently pre- sented a $4,978 check to Olatha Leggett, program di- rector of Cornerstone Kids, Inc., an after-school program to reach at-risk inner city chil- dren. The funds from US- AmeriBank filled a gap Cornerstone Kids needed to implement AfterSchool Kidz- MathTM, a program created specifically for after-school set- tings and designed to promote the mathematical learning and
social development of children in grades K-5.
USAmeriBank’s support for AfterSchool KidzMathTM, was made possible through a fund it recently established with the Community Foundation of Tampa Bay. Through this fund, the Foundation helps US- AmeriBank reach its goal of supporting education, and with the mathematical learning in- volved, funding this program aligned well.
