SISTER LIZZIE MAE STEVENSON
Sister Lizzie Mae Steven- son of Riverview, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2015.
Funeral service will be con- ducted Saturday, December 19, 2015, at 2 p. m. at First Prospect Missionary Baptist Church, 6012 Edina St., Wimauma, FL, Reverend Tony Harris, pastor, eulogist, with Reverend James W. Berrien, officiating. Inter- ment will follow in Wimauma Community Cemetery.
Sister Lizzie M. Stevenson was born May 15, in Dublin, GA, to the late Rosa Lee and Thomas Henderson. She grew up in Parrish, FL, and attended her early school years in Manatee County. She completed her education with a high school diploma from Hillsborough County Public Schools.
At an early age, she ac- cepted Christ and was a faith- ful member of New Bethel M. B. Church in Parrish. She later moved to Wimauma and joined First Prospect M. B. Church, where she was an ac- tive member for 44 years with roles including, choir direc- tor, food coordinator and program chair.
She later returned to her childhood church New Bethel M. B. Church, where she re- mained faithful until death.
Sister Stevenson retired from Hillsborough County Public Schools as a School Food Service Manager after 25 years of service. After re- tirement from the school dis- trict, she worked for First Baptist Church of Temple Terrace for 11 years as a food coordinator. She also joined the church’s drama troop that traveled to other churches
throughout the region, as well as volunteered with fam- ilies through the Florida De- partment of Children and Families.
She served as an Associate Matron of OES Chapter 18, Bradenton, FL, and President of the Grand Benevolent, Chapter One of Wimauma.
She enjoyed singing and writing poetry in her spare time.
Her life partners included her husband, the late Theodore Stevenson, and the late Elijha West, Sr.
Sister Stevenson was pre- ceded in death by: her sister, Freddie Mae Garvin; her chil- dren, Shirley, Randolph (Randy), Alfred, Wade and, like a son, John Berrien, Sr.; and grandchildren, Latris West and Kevin Johnson.
She will be missed by: her children, Margaret Claritt, Wimauma, FL, Elijah West, Jr., Snellville, GA, Rita West, Wimauma, FL, and Gwen- dolyn West, Wimauma, FL; grandchildren, Colette Glover-Hannah (Chadwick), Ladreda Spencer (Joseph), Darina Russell (Bobby), Stacy Johnson, Wade West (Trina), Terrance West, Timmy Ram- sey (Latoya), Randy West, Makisha Lamb, (Cedric), Brandon West (Daphne), Ali- cia Claritt, Mitchel West, De- andre Tyler, Brittany West and Jaedan West; 30 great grandchildren and 9 great- great grandchildren; two god- sons, Clifford Muldrow and Reverend David King (Ninya); 3 close cousins, James Lee Davis, Hattie Gor- don and Bernice Davis; spe- cial friends, Ora Bell Levins, Aquila Morgan, Cassie Mae Smith, Mary Dixon, Levern Stephens and family, and the late Mazie Bell Watson; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and church family.
The remains will repose after 5 p. m., Friday, Decem- ber 18, 2015, at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, and the fam- ily will receive friends from 7:30-8:30 p. m. at the Chapel.

MS. SHIRLEY FAYE THOMPSON
Ms. Shirley Faye Thomp- son, lovingly known as “Peaches” was called to her heavenly home on December 7, 2015.
The homegoing celebra- tion will be held Saturday, December 19, 2015, at 11 a. m. at Tyer Temple United Methodist Church, 3309 N. 15th St., with Reverend Geraldine Christopher, pre- siding, and Reverend Dr. Calvin McFadden of St. John’s Congregational Church, Springfield, MA, eu- logist. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Shirley was a native of Tampa, and the first born daughter of James and Catherine T. Thompson. She was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County and was a graduate of Howard W. Blake Senior High School, Class of 1962.
She was employed as a nurse at Florida Hospital (formerly known as Univer- sity Community Hospital).
Shirley was preceded in death: by her parents; sis- ters, Carolyn Anderson and Patricia Thompson; and her aunt, Mary Ann Watson.
She leaves to cherish her sweet memories: daughter, Monica Latrice Thompson; brother, Joseph C. McFad-

MR. CARLTON LEE FALCONER 9/23/1974 — 12/6/2015
Memorial services for Mr. Carlton Lee Falconer, will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2015, at 3 p. m. at Shek- inah Glory Cathedral Church Of God In Christ, 1301 S. 78th St., Tampa, 33619.
Mr. Falconer died in his sleep on December 6, 2015.
Funeral services will be held in his native land in St. James, Montego Bay, Ja- maica. He is survived by his wife, children, other family members and friends.
