SISTER EARLINE HOWARD BYRD
A Homegoing Celebration for Sis- ter Earline Howard Byrd will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at New Life Tabernacle, 6912 Williams Road, Seffner, Florida, with Pastor Rashidi F. Collins, Officiating. Interment will follow at Orange Hill Cemetery, 4900 E. Chelsea Street, Tampa, Florida.
Mrs. Earline Howard Byrd was born in Wacissa, Florida, on August 29, 1953, to JC Howard and Bessie Miller Howard.
Earline was preceded in death by: both of her parents and her grand- mother who raised her, Reatha Sutton.
Earline attended the public schools of Jefferson County. After graduation she moved to Tampa, FL, where she met and later married her husband, the late Willie Dee Byrd.
Earline was employed at BF Goodrich for over 30 years until she re- tired. After retirement, she pursued a career as a part-time sales consultant at Nutritional Cooking Solutions (Sal- admaster), until her passing. She was a faithful, devoted member at New Smyrna Full Gospel Church for many years. She served on the Mothers Board, Usher Board, Sunday School Teacher, Van Diver, Financial Secre- tary and many other roles.
On Wednesday, September 15, 2021, God heard her saying, “I’m tired.” He sent his angels to bring her home for eternal rest.
She leaves to cherish precious memories with: 3 loving daughters, Latoshia McMiller, Dianna Byrd, of Tampa, and Denisha (Brian) Muhich of St Cloud, FL; 1 son, Willie Jarvis Byrd of Tampa; grandchildren, Javonna, Jasmine, Jhana, Ladazha, Breonna (Jordan), Kierra, Tamiym, Jamie, Am- bria, Caleb, Joshua, Jhyniah, Elijah, Isaiah, Patience and Mercy; 7 great grands; siblings, Jeraldine Howard Ed- wards of Tampa, FL, Erica Howard, Joe Nathan (Doris) Howard of Wacissa, FL, Dale (Melissa) Howard, Bruce (Anita) Howard, Gerald Howard and Angela Howard, all of Monticello, FL, Karen (Mike) Jackson and Bertha Howard of Tallahassee, FL; aunts and uncles, Mary of Louisiana, Viola, Hazel (Bernice) of Tampa, Mary (Pink) of North Carolina, Elijah (Evelyn) of Palatka, Devon (Aurelia) of Clermont, Barbara, Mattie and Cornelia, all of Miami, Rev Barbara Sutton, Wacissa, FL; great aunt, Nather Lee Henry, Wacissa, FL; nieces, Terica, Taleshia, Sherica, Yashica, Jermeika (Angel); nephews: Eric, Dale, Jr., Ian, Jeremy, Jonathan, Deandre, Karron and Breon; a special host of nieces, nephews on her husband’s side and friends. special friends Cora and Chan- tal; an adopted daughter, Ulna and other relatives and friends.
There will be a viewing on Friday, September 24, 2021, from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida.

MR. GERALD ‘DANK’ DAVIS
Mr. Gerald Davis (Dank) of Tampa, Florida passed away Friday, September 10, 2021. Funeral serv- ices will be conducted on Saturday, September 25, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel, 3000 N 29th St., Pastor Pierre Francois Officiating and Rev. Larry Roundtree, II, Eulogist. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Mr. Gerald Davis was born April 29, 1952, in Tampa, Florida. Gerald was a lifelong resident of Tampa. He was educated in the Public Schools of Hillsborough County and was a dedicated and hard worker at Lup- ton’s Catering for over 15 years.
Gerald was preceded in death by: his wife, Bridgette Davis; par- ents, Mr. Daniel and Mattie Davis; siblings, Jimmy Lee Davis, Henry Davis, Rita Davis, Nathaniel Davis, Charlene Davis, Victor Davis, Daniel Davis, Jr., Moses Davis, Lucille Davis, Veronica Davis and niece, Demetrius (Tweety) Barton.

MR. WILLIE G. HILL, JR.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday Septem- ber 25, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at Wil- son Funeral Home Chapel, 3000 29th Street, Tampa, FL, 33605, with Dr. S. Evan Burrows, of First Baptist Church of College Hill, Of- ficiating.
On Friday, September 10, 2021, Willie G. Hill, Jr., embraced the loving Arms of Jesus and took his journey to his Heavenly home.
Willie G. Hill, Jr., was born on December 14, 1956, to the parent- age of Willie G. Hill, Sr., and Bessie L. Sullivan Brown Hill, in Tampa, Florida. He was the fifth out of eight siblings. He attended the public schools of Hillsborough County, FL, and graduated from Hillsborough Senior High School, Class of 1974. He later attended Florida A & M University in Talla- hassee, Florida.
After relocating to Orlando, FL, Willie received training in his craft as an Electrician Journey- man, where he was employed with several companies in Orlando and Tampa, FL.
Willie was very outgoing, lov- ing, and brought joy to all who knew him. His infectious smile, jokes, and laughter will remain in the hearts of all who met him. Willie had an insurmountable love for his family. He sponsored and hosted the Hill family first family reunion in Orlando, Fl.
He was a music connoisseur and loved to dance. He had an ap- preciation for all genres of music which lead him to become a no- table Disc Jockey in the Orlando and Tampa area. He was better known as DJ Will to his family and friends.
Willie G. Hill, Jr., was pre- ceded in death by: his parents, Willie G. Hill, Sr., and Bessie Lou Sullivan Brown Hill; siblings, Ken- neth Lee Hill, Johnnie Mae King, Geraldine Crum and a host of other relatives.
He leaves to cherish memories of him with sons, Shawn Hill (Ma- rina) Tampa, FL, Antwan Hill, Port St Lucie, FL and Jermaine Hill, Orlando, FL; daughters, Alexis Hill and Nichelle Hill, Wes- ley Chapel, FL; grandchildren, Tanese Hill, Malachi Hill, Tamai Hill, Antwan Hill, Jr., Messiah Hill, Jermaine Hill, Jr., and Jayce Hill; siblings, Henry L. Brown, Kenneth R. Hill (Ann), Linda G. Hill (Reuben) and Brenda J. MRS. VANESSA MELISSA LOVETT
A Memorial Service celebrating the life of Mrs. Vanessa Melissa Lovett, who passed away on August 27, 2021, will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2021, at 4:00 p.m., at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida.
Mrs. Vanessa Lovett was born July 20, 1977, in Brooklyn New York to the parentage of Henry Sutton, Jr., and Rosemary Davis Sutton.
Her passions were reading books and spending quality time with her family. Vanessa was em- ployed at Terminix Call Center at the time of her passing.
Vanessa was preceded in death by: her mother, Mrs. Rosemary Sut-
ton.
