many challenges that she rose above every time. She was com- mitted and along the way she paved the way for many other nurses and stood alongside and spoke up for those who were dis- enfranchised.
After many years of service as a registered nurse she retired in 1982. She then pursued her career as a minister and became a licensed minister in 1987, in the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc.
In addition, to her ministe- rial duties, she was licensed by the state of Florida to own and operate an Adult Family Care Home from 1995 to 1997. She later spearheaded the Women of Zion, Inc. She served many ca- pacities including, Founder of the Nurses Guild at St. John Mis- sionary Baptist Church, a writer and producer of plays, co- founder of the First Black Nurs- ing Organization in the Tampa Bay area, known as Minority Nurses of Tampa Bay; also the first black chairperson for the Florida Nurses Association on Human Rights.
Her hobbies were cake deco- rating, sewing, amateur songstress, actor, writing in plays and public speaking.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Everett Cole and son, Stephen John Cole; and siblings, Marion Lee, Jerry Lee, and Anna Pearl Morgan Den- nard.
She leaves to cherish her pre- cious memories: Everett Cole, II (Happy); grandchildren, Kaden and Kennedy Cole, Daniel Nils- son Cole and Rebecca Nilsson Cole (Sam); brother, Edmond Morgan (Betsy); and a host of other relatives and friends.
The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, September 27th from 5 to 7 p. m.
The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel for the service.

      MR. TONY BROWN
A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Tony Brown of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Fri- day, September 20, 2019, will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2019, 10 a. m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Rev. Michael Neely, officiating. The interment will be in Hillsboro Memorial Cemetery, Brandon, Florida.
Tony was born on June 15, 1963 to Eugene Ford and Evelyn Johnson. He was a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. In his pastime, he en- joyed watching most sports and playing golf and basketball. Tony worked as a manager in the retail industry.
He leaves to cherish his fond and loving memories with: his loving and devoted wife of 30 years, Betty Brown; son, Mario Jermaine Brown; daughter, Tierra Toni Brown; sister, Betty Walker; and brothers, Joseph Brown, Cary Brown and Lenzie Brown.
The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, September 27th from 5 to 7 p. m.
The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Saturday for the service.

REV. PAULINE LORRAINE MORGAN COLE
A Homegoing Celebration for Rev. Pauline Lorraine Morgan Cole of Tampa, Florida, who passed away, Sunday, September 22, 2019, will be held Saturday, September 28th, 2 p. m., at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Bishop Adrian Shaw, Jr. officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pauline Lorraine Morgan Cole was born May 11, 1934 in Warwick, Georgia to the late Henry and Mary Morgan. She was three years old, when her family moved to Tampa, Florida. Pauline was baptized in the Bap- tist faith and later identified with the Apostolic Church, a Pente- costal Christian denomination.
She graduated from Middle- ton Senior High School. She de- cided to pursue a nursing degree and enrolled in the 5-year pro- gram at Tuskegee University. She graduated successfully in 1958 with a baccalaureate degree. She received her M. A. degree in In- dustrial and Technological Edu- cation from University of South Florida. While in college, she met her husband, Everett Cole and they married on June 21, 1959. Pauline worked as a nurse through segregation and met

A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Barbara Curry of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2019, will be held on Saturday, September 28th, 12 p. m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Rev. W. D. Sims, Pastor of St. Matthew Mis- sionary Baptist Church, officiat- ing. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Barbara was born on July 13, 1938 in Tampa, Florida to the late Wallace Gus Bryant and Charity Rucker. Aside from watching criminal investigative shows, Bar- bara really enjoyed and valued the company of family, friends and loved ones.
She was preceded in death by: her spouse, Ernest Curry; mother, Charity Rucker; father, Wallace Gus Bryant; sister, Jean Ann Allen; uncle, Cornelius Frank Bryant; sons, Andre Earnest Curry, Jr., Kathartis Curry, Michael Solomon, Donald Webb; and grandson, Rashann Curry; and great grandson, Roderick Lucas, Jr.

A Homegoing Celebration for Deaconess Gladys R. Tyson of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Friday, September 20, 2019, will be held on Saturday, Septem- ber 28th, 11 a. m. at First Baptist Church of College Hill, 3838 N. 29th Street, Rev. S. Evan Burrows, Senior Pastor, officiating. The in- terment will be held in Orange Hill Cemetery.
Gladys R. Tyson was born Feb- ruary 6, 1947 in Durham, North Carolina to the late James Corey and Clara Martin. She graduated from Highs School 1966 in New Brunswick, New Jersey. She re- ceived her AS Degree in teaching from Hillsborough Community College. She worked many years as a teacher’s aide with special needs children.
She was preceded in death by her parents; grandmother, Dora Griffin; 3 brothers, Lester Martin, Jr., Clarence Martin, Sr. and An- gelo Martin.
She leaves to cherish her pre- cious memories with: her hus- band, Rev.
