Governor Appoints Secretary Of The Florida Lottery
Recently, Governor Ron DeSantis announced the appointment of Randall Hunt as Secretary of the Florida Lottery. The appoint- ment comes following the resignation of former Florida Lottery Secretary Jim Pop- pell.
“I’m pleased to an- nounce the appointment of Randall Hunt to lead our efforts at the Florida Lottery. Randall’s entrepreneurial skills and perseverance will serve him well as he takes the helm of this important de- partment,” Governor De- Santis said.
Hunt is the owner and CEO of Athletic Apex, a na- tional health and fitness chain. He was appointed as a board member of the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority

Hunt received his Bach- elor’s Degree from Pepper- dine University, where he also played collegiate golf on a full scholarship, He is a

Man Charged With Performing Home Dentistry Without A License
A Wesley Chapel man pos- ing as a dentist is facing sev- eral charges after an undercover detective says the man was doing home dental work without being a licensed dentist.
According to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office, 33- year-old Jose Mas Fer- nandez offered to do dental work in his house to an un- dercover agent.
The agent says Mas Fer- nandez offered a tooth ex- traction and antibiotics for

$150, and additional numb- ing medication for $20.
The agent went to the home and found the type of equipment found in profes- sional dental offices.
Mas Fernandez admit- ted to offering services from his home, and confirmed he was not licensed to do so.
He is charged with prac- ticing dentistry without a li- cense, possession of dental equipment, and possession of prescription drugs with in- tent to sell.
