Young Money President Mack Maine Teases Lil Wayne And Drake Collaboration
LIL WAYNE AND DRAKE
With the original version of Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter V set arrived last month, Young Money president Mack Maine has been hyping up the release on social media.
Last Tuesday, Mack posted two photos to his Insta- gram Stories that sparked ru- mors of another Drake and Wayne collaboration that will be included on the upcoming project.
The photos were of a flying lion with angel wings and an- other lion with a third eye. When the power duo collabo- rates together, Drake calls himself Young Angel, while Wayne refers to himself as Young Lion.

David Letterman's next guests for his Netflix talk show have been revealed.
The streaming platform's third season of My Next Guest Needs No Introduction has a four-episode roster that in- cludes Lizzo, Kim Kar- dashian, Dave Chappelle, and Robert Downey, Jr. In a first for the show, all episodes will premiere at once on Oct. 21.
Letterman tends to go deep with his subjects, some of which have included George Clooney, Jay-Z, Ellen De- Generes, and Howard Stern. The host also previ- ously interviewed Kar- dashian's husband, Kanye West, in an interview that pre- miered last year on Netflix.
To Return His 50%
Albums Of All Time’ List
Share Of All G.O.O.D.
Marvin Gaye’s What’s Going On?, right, took the Number one spot in this year’s Rolling Stone’s ‘500 Greatest Albums of All Time.’ Also on the list: (clockwise from r to l): Stevie Wonder’s Songs in the Key of Life, Prince’s Purple Rain, Michael Jackson’s Thriller and Aretha Franklin’s I Never Loved Another Man.
Kanye West has been on a mission to unshackle him- self from his multiple Univer- sal Music Group/Sony contracts. One of his major points of contention has to do with owning his master recordings, which he believes is something that should be afforded to every artist.
On Wednesday (Septem- ber 23), Kanye vowed to re- turn his portion of all G.O.O.D. Music artists’ mas- ters, tweeting, “I’m giving all Good music artist back the 50% share I have of their mas- ters.”

to do the same thing, adding, “Now let’s have Universal match me.” The tweet in- cluded a screenshot of a text conversation he was having with Elon Musk.
Rolling Stone gave its much talked (read: argued) about “500 Greatest Albums of All Time” a reboot, with less emphasis on rock and a noticeable nod to other musi- cal tastes.
This time around, the list, which was originally created in 2003 (and tweaked in 2012), honored Marvin Gaye’s seminal What’s Going On? with the No. 1 slot, replacing The Beatles Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band.
According to Rolling Stone, this revamp includes “154 new albums not previ- ously on the 500 list, and 86 albums from this century.” Three-hundred artists (in-
cluding Beyoncé, Wu- Tang’s Raekwon, H.E.R. and Tierra Whack), jour- nalists and industry types shaped this revision by voting on their favorite 50 albums of all time, and then the maga- zine tallied the scores.
While this is a win for Gaye fans, it’s also a win for Black artists in general, given that a good number of the “500 Greatest Albums” top spots went to them. Stevie Wonder’s Songs in the Key of Life (No. 4), Prince’s Pur- ple Rain (No. 8), Michael Jackson’s Thriller (No.12) and Aretha Franklin’s I Never Loved Another Man (No. 13) dominated the top 15.

YoungBoy Never Broke Again
Music Artists' Masters
Says He’s Not Competing With DaBaby, Lil Baby Or Roddy Ricch
YoungBoy Never Broke Again doesn’t con- sider DaBaby, Lil Baby or Roddy Ricch to be competi- tion. During a TIDAL Check- In interview with Elliott Wilson, the Atlantic Records artist denied any rivalry when asked about competing with the aforementioned rappers.
“It ain’t none of that,” he told Wilson. “You could never compete with a person. None of those people deter- mine [what I do] or I deter- mine where they gon’ go. What they make and all that s**t don’t concern what’s going on over here and any- thing different. I don’t know what to say about that, but s**t, no.”
YoungBoy had nothing but good things to say about DaBaby, Lil Baby and Roddy. In his mind, they all

bring something unique to the table.
“Everybody great at what they do, and it’s all different,” he explained. “We all differ- ent.”
While YoungBoy may not care about rap’s MVP race, he’s made a strong case for being one of the con- tenders for the crown in 2020. He’s earned three No. 1 albums in less than a year and had a mixtape peak at No. 2 along the way.
