Kevin Gates Set To Be Released After 6-Months In Jail For Kicking Woman In Lakeland Club
Kevin Gates kicked a woman in the stomach during a per- formance in Lakeland in 2015.
Houston rapper Kevin Gates will reportedly walk free from jail later this month.
The “Paper Chasers” star, real name Kevin Gilyard, was sentenced to 180 days in jail on a battery charge for kicking a female fan during a 2015 performance.
Gilyard was onstage at Rumor’s Nite Club in Lake- land, Florida in 2015 when au- dience member Miranda Dixon reportedly tugged at his shorts mid-performance.
In video footage of the inci- dent, Gates appeared to strike the woman in her abdomen with his foot, and police subse- quently filed a criminal com- plaint against him.
He was convicted of battery last year and also received one year of probation.
The 31-year-old has been serving his time at the Polk County Jail, but he will report- edly be released on March 24.

And in the midst of all this darkness, there is a ray of light. Netflix just spilled the premiere deets for two of three Dave Chappelle com- edy specials that the video- streaming site promised. And it’s sooner than you think.
If Dave Chappelle’s ap- pearance on Saturday Night Live earlier this month left you wanting more, you want to tune in to Netflix.
On Thursday, Netflix an- nounced that two of the stand-up specials will pre- miere on Tuesday, March 21, which is basically tomorrow. Netflix even dropped a little

High-Five’s Russell Neal Deemed ‘Incompetent’ For Trial For Wife’s Murder
The Carters are looking to purchase $85M mansion.
Back in July 2014, Hi-Five member Russell Neal was arrested for the murder of his wife, Catherine Martinez, after he went to the local po- lice station in Houston, TX.
Catherine, a model and fit- ness trainer and the mother of Neal’s two children, was also stabbed multiple times.
Details surrounding the case and trial have been quiet for the last several years until the series Crime Watch Daily re- cently did a special on the in- cident.
It turns out Neal was lying about his fat pockets and Catherine was said to be the one holding down their house- hold. The family also alleges Neal was abusive.
The family also spoke about the incident, which shook the family to the core.
“You couldn’t tell it was her,” Glenda said of the condition of Catherine’s body when she was discovered. According to her family, Neal didn’t go to the police about the inci- dent until two days after she was killed; their kids were

Spelling, who spoke to PEO- PLE around the time of the sale in 2011, the house was "the largest home in Los An- geles County," and included a "bowling alley, wine cellar, three gift-wrapping rooms, li- brary, gym, doll room, screening room and humid- ity-controlled silver storage room."
"When Beyoncé and Jay Z are not working, they live a very quiet life in L.A. They seem to prefer private gather- ings to public outings," says another source.
In 2015, the couple were renting a spot in L.A. for $150,000 a month, while splitting their time between the West Coast and New York.

After more evidence was pre- sented in the case, Neal’s bail was revoked, and he was sent to prison to wait to stand trial.
While in jail, he started to call himself Jesus Christ and has since been placed in a mental institution in Rusk State Hospital in Texas. He is currently deemed incompe- tent to stand trial — this de- spite police reportedly stating that he knew what he was doing when he attacked his wife in 2014.
