Crime Stoppers Feature ‘First Friday Fugitives’
Man Faces Manslaughter In 2016 Shooting Death

At the begin- ning of each month, Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay releases the names of individu- als being sought by law enforcement and the charges pending against them.

Tampa Police arrested a man on Thursday and charged him with manslaughter and carrying a concealed weapon. The charge was in connection with a shooting death that took place last September.
According to police, Nathaniel Jones, 29, was discovered in the 1700 block of E. Idell Street suffering from gunshot wounds on September 17th. He was transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital, where he died as a result of his injuries.
Student Charged With Having Gun On Campus

A 20-year-old high school student was arrested on Fri- day and charged with bringing a gun on campus. He was re- leased from the Hillsborough County Jail after posting a $2,000.
According to the Tampa Police Department, a teacher reported smelling the strong odor of marijuana coming from the boys’ bathroom on the second floor of Blake High School, 1701 N. Boulevard. Dr. Lee Williams, Assistant Principal, checked and se- cured the bathroom. After re- viewing the video camera, Dr. Williams learned that 3 males had exited the bath- room. All three of the young men were located and searched.
During the search of Malik Dixon, the School Re- source Officer found a .22 cal- iber automatic handgun in his possession. The handgun was located in a sock in a hoodie Dixon was wearing. He was taken into custody and charged with being in posses- sion of a handgun on school property.

concealed firearm. He was released from the Hillsbor- ough County Jail after post- ing a $22,000 bond.
Shooting Leaves One Dead, One Injured

stemming from a theft of a Phantom 4 Drone, valued at approximately $1,199, from Apple of Brandon on Febru- ary 9, 2017. Maldonado is from Orlando and investiga- tors believe that he could be responsible for similar thefts in the Orlando and Miami areas.
Leroy Rene Simpson, Jr., 30, has an active warrant from the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office for 5 counts of fraudulent use of a credit card, 3 counts of grand theft, cashing/depositing an item with intent to defraud and failure to appear, driving while license suspended.
Frederick D. Viana,
25, has an outstanding war- rant by the Tampa Police De- partment for leaving scene of crash involving death and driving while license sus- pended involving death.
Viana is wanted by law enforcement for a hit and run traffic fatality that occurred at N. Himes Avenue North and W. Hillsborough Avenue West on November 27, 2016.
Detectives believe that Viana is responsible for hit- ting and killing a bicyclist, then fleeing.

A 38-year-old St. Peters- burg man is recovering from gunshot wounds in a local hospital. He and another man were found suffering from gunshot wounds last Thursday.
According to police, offi- cers responded to a call of shots fired. When they ar- rived, they found Adrian Lee Wilson, of St. Peters- burg, suffering from a gun- shot in the 700 block of South 16th Street.
The officers were directed to a nearby alley, where they found the body of Frankie Comacho, 24, who had also been shot. Comacho was pronounced dead at the
scene. Police
said inves- tigators be- lieve both men were involved in the same incident.
Wilson
was trans-
ported to a
local hospital, where he was admitted in connection with his injuries. He was also placed in custody and is being charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm.
The investigation is con- tinuing, police said.
Jeremy Dale Boggs, 31, is wanted by the Florida De- partment of Corrections for violation of probation grand theft and violation of proba- tion obtain property or serv- ice with a worthless check and by the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office for violation of probation grand theft. Boggs was last known to be in the Pasco County area.
Stacey Joanna Ho- race, (Aliases: Deberah Edell, Mary Johnson, Amy Rumrell, Mary Thompson), 38, has out- standing warrants issued by the Florida Department of Corrections, Tampa Police Department, Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office and Hillsbor- ough County State Attorney’s Office for cash or deposit item with intent to defraud, grand theft, fail to return rental vehicle, grand theft motor vehicle, failure to ap- pear violation of probation issuing worthless check, 2 counts of violation of proba- tion obtain property worth- less check, fraudulent use of personal information, viola- tion of probation public as- sistance fraud, violation of probation grand theft and failure to return hired/leased property.
