Officers Caught On Video Tasing Girl, 12
Township, Ohio, sheriff’s were caught on video using a Taser on a 12-year-old black girl at a skating rink.
COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, OH —- Two white sheriff’s deputies in Colerain Town- ship, Ohio, were caught on video using a Taser on a 12- year-old black girl at a skating rink Saturday night after she reportedly attacked them and refused to leave the skating rink when asked.
Brian Liette, an employee of the Skatin’ Place, told Fox19 that the girl was asked to com- ply with a rule requiring all pa- trons to wear skates, and she was given a time frame within which to do so, but she re- fused. She was told that she would be asked to leave if she did not comply.
After she was asked several times to put skates on and re- fused, Hamilton County sher- iff’s deputies got involved.
WCPO reports that the deputies’ use of force is cur- rently under investigation, but Hamilton County Sheriff’s Of- fice spokesman Mike Robi- son said it appeared that the deputies had followed policies and procedures when using the Taser.
Robison said that as deputies escorted the girl out, she hit a deputy in the face twice and then kicked both deputies.
Michigan Mom To Ex-Hubby: ‘You Will Burn In Hell’ For Murdering Our Children
Faith Green broke her silence before the sentencing of her ex- husband, Gregory Green, 50, who murdered their 2 children, Koi and Kaleigh Green and his 2 stepchildren, Chadney and Kara Allen’’.
A little boy from Louisville, Kentucky, is warming every- one's heart with his "haircut prank."
The boy's mom, Lydia Rosebush, posted on Face- book that her almost 5-year- old son Jax wanted to get his head shaved really close so he could look identical to his best friend, Reddy.
Jax thought his new 'do’ would trick his teacher and she wouldn't be able to tell the boys apart, although Jax is white and Reddy is black.
"This morning Jax and I were discussing his wild hair," Rosebush captioned an older photo of Jax and Reddy standing side-by- side. "I told him that he needed a haircut this week-
end.”
He said that he wanted his
head shaved really short so he could look like his friend Reddy," she continued. "He said he couldn't wait to go to school on Monday with his hair like Reddy's so that his teacher wouldn't be able to tell them apart. He thought it would be so hilarious to con- fuse his teacher with the same haircut.”
Although there is an obvi- ous difference between the two preschoolers, Rosebush said it shows that "hate and prejudice is something that is taught.”
According to her, the only difference Jax sees between him and his best friend is their hair.
Fired Journalist Arrested For Cyberstalking
DETROIT, MI — Breaking her silence publicly for the first time, Faith Green called the man who murdered her four children a "con artist," "monster" and "devil in disguise.”
There’s no punishment that fits the crime, not even tor- ture and death would be jus- tice,” she said of ex-husband Gregory Green’s actions during his sentencing Wednesday. “Your justice will come when you burn in hell for all eternity for murdering four innocent children.”
Wayne County Circuit
Judge Dana Hathaway
followed a sentence agree- ment reached in the case that requires Green of Dearborn Heights to serve 45-100 years in prison for murdering his two young daughters and two teenage stepchildren at their Dearborn Heights home last year and another two years for a felony firearm convic- tion, which will be served first.
“I’m convinced that you will be incarcerated for the re- mainder of your life,” Hath- away told him, which received applause from peo- ple in the packed courtroom in Detroit.
She said Green, who looked straight ahead as his
ex-wife spoke, appeared “ut- terly unmoved” and called his actions “inconceivable” and “beyond understanding.”
Green pleaded guilty to four counts of second-degree murder last month, admitting he killed Chadney Allen, 19; Kara Allen, 17; Koi Green, 5, and Kaleigh Green, 4. He shot his two stepchildren in front of their mother and killed his two daughters by carbon monox- ide poisoning.
My short-term memory is gone,” Green said, explain- ing doctors said her brain is protecting her from the mem- ories of her children being killed in front of her as she was gagged, duct taped and zip-tied.
She was shot in the foot and slashed in the face with a box cutter and had a scar vis- ible from her ear to her chin as she spoke.
Faith Green filed for di- vorce about a month before her children were killed.
The murders happened 25 years after Gregory Green killed his then-wife Tonya Green, who was seven months pregnant. Green pleaded no contest to second- degree murder in 1992, served 16 years in prison and was paroled in 2008.
ST. LOUIS, MO —- The FBI has arrested Juan Thomp- son, a former reporter for The Intercept who was fired for fabricating sources, in connection with a string of bomb threats targeted at Jewish Community Centers in recent weeks.
He is charged with one count of cyberstalking and will appear in federal court in St. Louis on Friday. The in- vestigation is ongoing.
According to an affidavit unsealed on Friday, the FBI has stated that Thompson “appears to have made some of the JCC threats as part of a sustained campaign to harass and intimidate” an ex-girl- friend.
Thompson, 31, also al- legedly harassed her via email and text message, and reached out directly to her place of employment in what her lawyer has called “scorched earth attacks for months.” After their break- up, Thompson’s former girlfriend took out an “order of protection” against Thompson.
Juan Thompson was ar- rested for cyberstalking Jew- ish Centers.
Thompson’s alleged JCC threats were made in January and February. According to the affidavit, he made “at least 8 threats nationwide as part of his campaign of ha- rassment.” Some of them were made in the name of his ex-girlfriend, and some were made in his own name, al- though Thompson claims these were made by his for- mer girlfriend to implicate him.
