Judge Rules Sherri Shepherd Be Listed As Mother Of Surrogate Baby

She did not want anything to do with the child.
But on Tuesday a judge in Pennsylvania ruled that Sherri Shepherd, 47, was to be listed as the mother on the birth certificate of the child that was born via surrogate with estranged husband Lamar Sally in August, ac- cording to TMZ.
Sally, who is in divorce proceedings with the former The View star, was thrilled with the news.
The former couple have been battling out for months over whether Sherri should be named the mother. She feels she should not be as the egg is not hers.
The former talk show host claimed she 'has no connec- tion or responsibility to the child.'
Sherri has also pointed out that because she did not want the child, and it was not her egg, she should not have to pay child support.
But the judge did not rule in her favor. The star was not present at the hearing.
The couple will have to meet to decide on child sup- port, which she will have to pay now that she is listed as the mother.
‘Furious 7’ Passes $1.1 Billion Worldwide
Bottom Since Last Month’s Launch
Furious 7 fended off solid newcomers Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 and Unfriended to top the domestic box office for the third weekend in a row.
More importantly, the movie had another stunning weekend overseas.
Specifically, it continued to do massive business in China,
where its earned nearly $250 million through its first eight days.
Furious 7 has now grossed $1.15 billion worldwide, which ranks seventh all-time. Even if it falls off quickly from here, it still has a real chance of making it past $1.4 billion by the end of its run.
During the launch event Rihanna, Madonna, Beyonce, Usher, Daft Punk, Arcade Fire, Jack White and Kanye West joined a host of other stars as they were revealed as co-owners of the subscrip- tion service, created by Jay Z. Tidal is billed as the first artist- owned platform for music and video.
Chris Brown, Nicki Minaj And Shaggy To Headline iHeartRadio Show In Vegas
Last month some of the biggest names in music joined Jay Z for the launch of his premium music streaming service Tidal.
But despite all the pomp and circumstance, the app is now floundering at the lower ends of the iOS app store chart.
At the time of writing the Tidal service ranked at 872 on the overall download chart
and 51 in the music category in the U.S.
While in the UK the situa- tion is worse, with the app ranking at 92 in the music app category, and disappear- ing from the overall app list entirely.
By comparison, Pandora radio and Spotify occupy first and second spots respectively when the iOS and Google Play downloads are combined.

Dr. Dre Wins Lawsuit Against Death Row Records
Kelly Rowland And Brandy
Dr. Dre has been battling Death Row Records over the past year over unpaid funds from the online sales of The Chronic and he has come out victorious.
According to Billboard, U.S. District Judge Christina Snyder ruled that Dr. Dre is entitled to be paid more royalities from the digital sales of his 1992 debut album than what he has been getting. The album can still be sold digitally, but Dre will now receive 100 percent of the monies from digital sales.
“For years, Death Row Records forgot about Dre

when they continued to dis- tribute his music digitally and combined his hits with weaker Death Row tracks in an attempt to elevate the stature of their other artists,” Dre’s lawyer Howard King wrote in a statement.
Two of R&B's veteran pow- erhouse singers have landed their own TV shows. Kelly Rowland and Brandy will showcase their female mogul abilities on BET in 2015.
Kelly's show, dubbed "Chasing Destiny," will be more reality based. The series will be based around the "search for the next blazing hot singing sensation that will bring together young women with all that's required to meet Kelly Rowland's standards for excellence."
In contrary, Brandy's show will be more script like her past TV hits.
It's "a romantic comedy

called Zoe Moon featuring Zoë Moon (Brandy Nor- wood), a newly divorced sin- gle mom embarking on her new life and career as a fledg- ling cosmetics mogul -- but it won't be easy. Her ex-hus- band is not ready to take a back seat in her life, nor is her precocious 10-year-old son ready for her new dating life."
