J. Cole’s Song ‘KOD’ From New Album Breaks Spotify Record
Netflix Cancels Regina King’s Series ‘Seven Seconds’
J. Cole has dethroned Tay- lor Swift in the Spotify record books.
The title track from his re- cently released KOD album set a new record for Spotify’s most opening day streams in the United States, according to Chart Data.

Cole’s KOD was released on Friday (April 20) and is projected to be #1 on the Bill- board 200 in its first week. In addition to his new LP, the Dreamville founder also dropped a video for the album cut “ATM.”
The Netflix series,’Seven Sec- onds’ which starred Regina King, has reportedly been canceled.
The drama premiered in February and explored race in America through a story in- volving the hit-and-run of an African-American teenager by a white Jersey City cop (Beau Knapp) and the crime’s sub- sequent cover-up by the mostly white police force.

Rapper Common is report- edly in talks to join Melissa McCarthy and Elisabeth Moss in the movie adaptation of crime comic book series "The Kitchen."
Set in New York City's Hell's Kitchen neighborhood in the 1970s, the story centers upon the wives of Irish mobsters, who take control of the crime operation when their hus-

Common is in talks to play federal agent, Gary Silvers in ‘The Kitchen’.
According to reports singer/actor Usher was the victim of a burglary. His es- tranged wife, Grace Miguel was apparently first informed about the heist by a domestic worker in the Los Angeles home.
Miguel claimed about $820,000 in cash and jewelry was missing. She reportedly told police the housekeeper noticed the recording box with the security camera footage was also removed from the res- idence.
The L.A. home is up for sale, and it is believed the thieves gained access by leaving a win- dow open during a showing.
Miguel supposedly found out about the break-in on March 29. Usher's $200,000 rose gold Jesus necklace and six watches (one worth around $200,000) were allegedly stolen.

Usher Raymond and Grace Miguel got married in 2015. News of their breakup became public in March. The couple remained together throughout Usher’s herpes scandal in 2017. Reports have come in con- firming that R. Kelly’s publi- cist and lawyer have severed ties with the singer.

This news comes in the midst of new allegations against the singer claiming he “knowingly and intention- ally infected” a 19-year-old woman, he was “grooming” for a sex cult, with an STD.
