Mentors For Ministry Prepares For Reunion 2017
Mentors For Ministry
is a youth outreach ministry at Christ of Calvary Commu- nity Church, where the Dr. Philip F. Tucker, Jr., is Overseer, and Dr. P. Tucker-Johnson also serves as Pastor.
The Ministry is in the final stages of its 10-year re- union planned for next month.
This Ministry was birthed through a vision
given to Dr. Tucker- Johnson in 2007. It has developed through the years into an outlet for youth to enhance their God-given gifts and talents for the Lord.
This Christian forum af- fords children the opportu- nity to express themselves spiritually at all times, never to be ashamed of who they are in Christ. Because this organization was founded
on true Christian values, the face of this Ministry is con- stantly changing, explained Dr. Tucker-Johnson. “Compromising what God has ordained is not an op- tion!” She added that the or- ganization is based on the following 2 scriptures:
“Be ye steadfast, unmov- able, always abounding in the works of the Lord!”
1 Corinthians 15:58
“The race is not given to the swift, but to those who endure until the end!”
Ecclesiastes 9:11
On July 14, 6:30 P. M., Dr. Tucker-Johnson and Mentors For Ministry will tell their story of 10 years, from beginning to end, at the Inkwell Center, 2905 N. 56th Street.
“This story of Warfare vs. The Power Of God, must be told."
“I pray that this produc- tion will edify and uplift someone who may be in a storm that has weakened their faith. God gets all the
glory for this ministry that He entrusted to my vessel," said Pastor Tucker- Johnson.
There will be no need to cook that day! There will be plenty of food! Save the date! You don't want to miss this! Bring your children! There is a donation of $5.00. There are advanced tickets available.
