MRS. GERTRUDE BURNEY
Mrs. Gertrude Burney left footprints on the journey to her home going on March 10, 2019.
She was a loving wife, daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother. A hilarious per- son who kept the family laughing. She was the pillar of our family. God blessed us with her for 97 long, strong years, and she has entered into eternal peace and rest with our Father who art in Heaven. What a life to cele- brate, we will greatly miss you Ninny.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Robert Bur- ney; parents, George and Ada Williams; her grandson, Dalphonso Sampson; her granddaughter, Larina Bur- ney; great-grandsons, Dal- shon Walton and Joseph Williams, Jr.; her brothers, Theodore, Ernest, George and Robert Williams; and her sis- ters, Violet Norton, Liza Goodwin, Bernice Edmond, Ethel Rogers and daughter-in- law, Barbara Young.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her children, Lewis Young, William (Nita) Bur- ney, Wanda Burney; Betty (Raifield) Thurman, Gail Bur- ney, Deborah Burney; and her grandchildren, Kim, Kevin, Jamal Young, Dionne, Shavon, William, Jr. and Kyle Burney, Terrance (Lisa) Bur- ney and Lakesha (Eddie) Bell, Shalanda Burney, Talisha El- dridge and Latonya Sampson, Garland (Camille) Burney and Gaysha Burney, AnTonio (Michelle) Burney and Brit- tany Jolly, her great- grand- children, Reneasha, Tarina, Ashley, and Shantel, Brenden and Zachary, Xavier Graddic, Tyler, Brandon, and Jayla Burney, Courtney, Jolisha, and Tra’vontae, Edward, Rick, Jr. and Rickalya, Kiija, Nadiyah, Kiara, Trenisha, Tremaine, Jr., Garland, Jr., Dalphonso, Tajae, Giovanni, Jordan, and Cameron Burney, Cayden Burney, Micah Mar- quis Jolly Joseph; and a host of nephews and nieces, great- grand babies and extended family members and friends.

MISS BARBARA JEAN JORDAN
Homegoing Services for Miss Barbara Jean Jordan, who passed away on March 14, 2019, will be held Satur- day, March 30, 2019, at 2 p. m. at New St. Peter Apostolic Church, 6429 North Oran Street, Tampa, Florida 33610, with Pastor Lucy Jordan, offi- ciating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park.
Barbara Jean Jordan was born in Tampa, to the late Maggie Lee Robinson Bel- lamy and Booker T. Jordan. She grew up in Tampa, and attended the public schools of Hillsborough County. Her life will be celebrated and re- membered by her family and all of those who were fortu- nate enough to have known her loving and kind spirit.
She was preceded in death by: Maggie Lee Robinson Bel- lamy, mother; Booker T. Jor- dan, father; Bobby Bellamy, Willie Bellamy, Theodore Jordan, brothers; Dorothy Jordan, sister.

Homegoing Celebration Service for Mrs. Thelma Eliza- beth Blaxton, who transitioned March 22, 2019, at a local health facility will be Saturday, March 30, 2019, at 1p. m., New Smyrna Full Gospel Cathedral, 5015 N. 17th St., Tampa, Florida 33610, Rev. Lewis Moore, offi- ciating, Rev. Victor Moore, eu- logist.
Mrs. Thelma Elizabeth Blaxton was born in Seffner, Florida, to the late Norman Moore and Alberta Moore. She was born February 18, 1953. She found Christ at an early age. Her hobbies were tending to her yard and caring for her children.
She was preceded in death by: her husband Daniel Blax- ton, Sr. and parents and grand- parents.
Ms. Thelma leaves to cher- ish her precious memories: 2 sons, Steven Moore and Daniel Blaxton, Jr.; 6 daughters, Sylvia, Ebony, Angela, Ashley, Lil Thelma, and Tealor; 2 daughters-in-law, Julie and Angela; 7 grandchildren, Layani Keyes, Alexis Williams, Robert, Zandra, Damian, Emily and Isis; 4 sons-in-law; 2 god-sisters, Margret Watts Stilling (Lamarcus), and Mar- ian Levins; 4 brothers, Rev. Lewis Moore (Carolyn), Leroy Moore (Shakira), Rudolph, and Norman Moore (Joyce); 2 sisters, Maxine Moore, and Al- berta Huston Moore; 2 sisters- in-law, Virgie Blaxton, Annie Blaxton; and a host of sorrow- ing family and friends.

Little Miss Princess Kayra Emma Mays-Waters, of Olds- mar, FL passed away Monday, March 18, 2019. Funeral serv- ices will be conducted Satur- day, March 30 at 10 a.m. at Mount Zion Progressive Mis- sionary Baptist Church, 955 20th Street South, St. Peters- burg, FL, with Reverend Louis M. Murphy, Sr., Pastor, offici- ating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park.
Kayra was 15-months-old, born December 13, 2017, in St. Petersburg, FL to her loving and devoted parents, Katrina Y. Mays and Keith D. Waters. She was loving, smart, spunky and was becoming quite a comedian in her own sense. She exceeded all expectations of her life’s ex- pectancy and was truly a gift from God.
She was preceded in death by: her great grandparents, Reverend Joseph and Ruth Mc- Nair; and great aunt, Deborah McNair.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her loving parents, Keith D. Waters and Katrina Y. Mays; brothers, Tyriq Williams, Ryan Mays, and Jor- dan Waters; sister, Brittany Waters; grandmothers, Josetta Mays, Elizabeth McNair Waters and Elizabeth Davis; grandfa- thers, Thomas Rice and Willie Clark; aunts and uncles, Wanda Mays, Earl and Latasha Mc- Nair, Lakisha Mays, Orlando Mays, Jimmy Butler, Shannon Waters, Sherry Waters and De- vonti Gutierez; great aunts and uncles, Shirley Wilson, Yvette Rice, Roger and Karen Mays and Patrice McNair; and also a host of special relatives of Tampa, FL and Philadelphia, PA, who cared and prayed for Kayra.

Ms. Glenda Jean Hayes, of Tampa, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2019. Funeral serv- ices will be conducted Satur- day, March 30th, at 2 p.m., at Life Point Church of God In Christ, 501 S. Kingsway Road, Seffner, FL 33509, with Pas- tor Major Charles Jones, II, Senior Pastor, officiating.
Ms. Glenda Jean Hayes was born in Clayton, Ala- bama, and was a lifelong resi- dent of Tampa, FL. She was a graduate from Brandon High School and obtained an Asso- ciate’s degree from Hillsbor- ough Community College.
Ms. Glenda worked for Citi Corp, of Tampa, for 25 years prior to retirement. Her favorite activities were going to yard sales and flea mar- kets.
She was preceded in death by: father, T. C. Blackmon; husband, Archie Hayes; and two brothers, Hubert Black- mon and Charles Blackmon.
Precious memories of Glenda will be forever cher- ished by: a loving mother, Inez Nickerson; one devoted son, Darryl Blackmon, of Am- sterdam, Netherlands; one granddaughter, Darien Black- mon; two brothers, Willie K.
