NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CONCERNING THE CITY OF TAMPA FY2017 ANNUAL ACTION PLAN AMENDMENT
The City Council of the City of Tampa will hold a Public Hearing concerning the Amendment to the City’s FY2017/PY2016 One Year Action Plan Submission for Community Planning and Development Programs, at 5:30 P.M., on March 23, 2017, or as soon thereafter as practicable, at City Council Chambers, Third Floor, City Hall, 315 East Kennedy Boulevard, Tampa, Florida.
The Purpose of this Public Hearing shall be to:
1) Present information concerning the Amendment to the FY2017/PY2016 Action Plan to address additional projects and funding allocations which include the following:
• Housing and Community Development – CDBG - $792,426.50 • HOPWA Administration – HOPWA - $114,574
• Emergency Solutions Center – CDBG - $345,000
• ESG Admin – ESG $12,465
2) Obtain the views and comments of citizens concerning the Proposed Amendment to the FY2017/PY2016 One Year Action Plan. The amendment is necessary to re-allocate unexpended funds and to add projects to the Annual Action Plan. The draft documents will be made available on February 16, 2017. Public Comment period shall being March 23, 2017 and end April 23, 2017.

3) Afford to any person or organization the opportunity to be heard.
Any person who decides to appeal any decision made by the City Council with respect to any matter considered at this Public Hearing will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose, may need to hire a court reporter to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 286.26, Florida Statutes, persons with disabilities needing special accommodation to participate in the Public Hearing should contact the City Clerk’s office at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to the date of the Public Hearing.
