Welcome, December
Eleven months have come and gone, the year 2016 moves forward to its closing...December 2016 is here.
The flower for the month of December is the Narcis- sus. It symbolizes sweetness, self-esteem, and vanity. The birthstone is the Turquoise. The month of December brings with it a lot of sharing, caring, and love --- some- thing we could use more of during the entire year. Why do we see this outpouring only during the period of No-
vember through December? There are peoples in need of food, clothing, shoes, housing, employment, finan- cial assistance, spiritual up- lifting, and more, every day of the year. Let’s pray and strive to create the atmos- phere of Thanksgiving- Christmas each day of the year. Then embrace the shifting of the atmosphere. And let the healing continue.
