Mother Charged In Death Of Missing Toddler
BY IRIS B. HOLTON Sentinel City Editor
At approximately 1:30 a.m., on September 1st, a woman reported that her toddler had been taken by a stranger. The Largo Police Department launched a mas- sive investigation.
Ms. Charisse Stinson, mother of 2-year-old Jor- dan Belliveau, told police she had accepted a ride from a stranger known only to her as “Antwan.” Ms. Stinson told police that she and Antwan had gotten into an argument and he struck her on the head. She woke up in a city park four hours later and her son was missing.
An Amber Alert was acti- vated and volunteers combed the wooded areas in search of the two-year-old.
The search came to an end Tuesday evening after

The Amber Alert has been cancelled, and it seems that the stranger named “Antwan,” who drove a white Camry, had gold teeth and dreadlocks did not exist.
Instead, Ms. Stinson was arrested and charged with first-degree murder. Po- lice said the child died as a

picious when Ms. Stinson’s account of what happened showed inconsistencies.
