MS. ROSE PEARL (GAMBRELL) JONES
Ms. Rose Pearl (Gambrell) Jones, surrounded by family and friends, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at Florida Hospital.
Services are Saturday, Sep- tember 8, 2018, at 10 a. m. at Bethel AME Church, 5001 Cum- berland Dr., Tampa, FL 33617, Pastor Karen Sims, with Rev. Michael Neely, officiating. Inter- ment - Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Ave., Tampa, Florida 33610.
Rose Pearl was born in Tampa, Florida on January 31, 1941, the daughter of Roscoe and Alma (Baker) Gambrell. She graduated from Middleton High School, Class of 1958. She mar- ried Cordell Jones on July 4, 1959.
Rose contributed to her com- munity through her service with the American Legion Carmichael-Legree Auxiliary Unit 167. She also served as the Recording Secretary for the Mid- dleton Class of 1958. She was a member of New Millennium Community Church.
She was the loving mother of five faithful children: Vyundra (Gambrell) and Roger Paul, Va- lencia Graham, Vanessa (Jones) Miller, Cordell and Bernice Jones and John and Margaret (wife) Graham.
She was the grandmother to nine precious grandchildren: Nakysha, Ronnie, Tawanda, Keith, Tiffany, Princess, Rodney, Roy and Nicole; great-grand- mother to fourteen great-grand- children.
She was preceded in death by: her mother and father, Roscoe and Alma Gambrell; her brothers, Robert, Don, and El Marvin Gambrell; and sisters, Betty Fennell and Barbara Ed- monds; niece, Sheila Cole; nephews, Billy and Michael Cole; grandsons, Devin Jones and Rautae Ellison, Jr.
Rose leaves behind to cherish precious memories: her hus- band, Cordell Jones; loving brothers, Roscoe, Christopher and Carlton Gambrell; sister, Brenda Hayes; devoted aunt, Ollie Mae Blanchett, Nora Jones, sister-in law, loyal cousins, a host of nieces, nephews; great nieces and nephews; great, great, nieces and nephews; special friends and classmates and a caring neigh- bor, Thomas Ravnell.
Visitations for family and friends will be held on Friday, September 7th, 2018 from 6-8 p. m. at Jackson Funeral Home, 4605 North 34th Street 33610. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church at 9:45 a. m. for the service.
The family will receive friends after interment at Bethel AME Church.

MRS. FLORENCE RANEY BRADSHAW
Mrs. Florence Raney Brad- shaw of Auburndale, FL, passed away Friday, August 31, 2018. Funeral Services will be con- ducted Saturday, September 8, 2018, at 2 p. m. at Hood Temple AME Zion Church, 3608 N. 26th Street, with Reverend Dr. Clearance Southall, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Ceme- tery.
Mrs. Florence Raney Brad- shaw was a native of Tifton, Georgia and a resident of Tampa, Florida for 45 years, Stuckey, Florida for 25 years and Auburndale, Florida for 7 years. She was a member of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, Stuckey Groveland, FL and was employed at Lola Food Produce.
Florence was preceded in death by: her loving parents, mother, Mrs. Mandy Mae (Neal) and father, John Raney; husband, Clearance Bradshaw; son, Robert and daughter, Ros- alyn Walton.
Mrs. Florence leaves to cherish her memory and she is survived by: five sons, Charlie Jr. of Pittsburgh, PA and fam- ily, Theodore and wife, Angie, of Tampa, FL, James of Tampa, Charlie and wife, Cathie of Auburndale, FL, and Keith and wife, Terri of Zephyrhills, FL; four daughters, Betty White- head of Tampa, Annie May Williams of Tampa, Gloria Jean Walton of Tampa, and Amanda Mae Walton of Tampa; 17 grandchildren, 27 great grand- children; sister, Willie Mae Raney Kyle and family of Ten- nessee; niece, Jackie and Mar- vin Chandler and family of Melbourne FL, and a host of other family and friends.
The remains will repose after 5 p. m. Friday, the 7th of September at Ray Williams Fu- neral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue.

MR. MERTON PHILMORE GRIFFITH
Mr. Merton Philmore Grif- fith, of Tampa, passed away, Fri- day, August 31, 2018. Funeral services will be Saturday, Sep- tember 8, 2018, at 11 a. m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, with Pastor Tommie Smith, officiating.
Mr. Griffith was born and raised in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad, West Indies. As a young child, his relationship with Christ and demonstration of his faith were evident in his daily involvements including his role as a member of the Boys Choir in Trinity Cathedral Church. He graduated from Bel- mont Intermediate Secondary School and moved forward to Progressive Educational Insti- tute. He migrated to New York City where he resided for over twenty-five years as an edu- cator and dental technician, eventually opening and leading his own business in the New York area.
In 1998, he moved to the Tampa Bay area to retire and spend time with his children and grandchildren.
Merton Griffith was pre- ceded in death by: his parents, Rudolph Kenwin Griffith and Agnes Grovesnor, as well as his daughter, Allison Griffith.
He leaves to celebrate his life and cherish his memories: his wife, Shirley Griffith; his chil- dren, Lee-Ann Sonia Griffith- House (Marvin), Garth Merton Griffith, and Sabrina Nicole Griffith; his siblings, Rudine Madoo Faison, Frances Er- mitrude Griffith, Claude Martin Griffith, Claudette Marina Grif- fith, Brian Griffith, Mark Jack- son and Michael Griffith; fourteen grandchildren and a host of loving family and friends.
The remains will repose after 5 p. m. Friday, September 7th and the family will receive friendsfrom6p.m.to7p.m.at the chapel.

Ms. Alma Kay Washington of Tampa passed away, Thursday, August 23, 2018. Funeral Serv- ices will be conducted Saturday, September 8 at 2 p. m. at New Progress Missionary Baptist Church, 3307 E. Shadowlawn Avenue, Reverend C. R. Batche- lor, Assistant Pastor, officiating, and Minister Leroy Chatman, eulogist.
Ms. Alma Kay Washington was a native of Parrott, Georgia and a resident of Tampa for many years. She was educated in the public schools of Terrell County, GA, and attended Daw- son Senior High School in Daw- sonville, GA. She was employed by Peninsula Seafood for 25 years and retired in 1996.
Ms. Washington was pre- ceded in death by: her parents, Charlie Washington, Sr. and Rosa Mary Harvey; brothers, Rayfield Washington, Herbert Washington, Homer Sheffield, John C. Sheffield and Jessie Sheffield; son, Albert Chatman, Jr.; stepson, Sam Chatman; stepdaughter, Freddie Mae Pick- ens.

MRS. LILLIAN BEATRICE FULLER
Mrs. Lillian Beatrice Fuller, age 71, transitioned Friday, Au- gust 31, 2018. Memorial Serv- ices will be held on Saturday, September 8, at 2 p. m. at Je- hovah Witness Kingdom Hall, 6318 North 22nd Street, Tampa, Florida.
Lillian was a native and life- long resident of Tampa, FL, born to Malcolm and Lillie B Smith. She was a graduate of Middleton High School, Class of 1963 and pursued a higher education by attending Edward Waters College, Jacksonville, FL.
In 1964, Lillian and Robert Lee Fuller joined together in holy matrimony. Lillian started her career in 1966, at the United States Postal Serv- ices, where she worked as a clerk/mail carrier for 40 years until retirement in 2006. Lil- lian’s true passions were her abiding admiration for Jeho- vah, music, and the love for family and friends.
She was preceded in death by: husband, Robert Lee Fuller; parents, Malcolm and Lillie B. Smith, and brother, John Smith and wife, Mary.
