MRS. KATRISE LAJUAN MANUEL BLACK
Home going celebration for Mrs. Katrise Lajuan Manuel Black who went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Novem- ber 17, 2016 will be held on Sat- urday November 26, 2016 at 11 a. m. at St. John Progressive Mis- sionary Baptist Church, 2504 E. Chipco Street, Tampa, Florida, with Rev. Dr. Bartholomew Banks, officiating. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by: her mother, Patricia Ann Stew- art; and brother-in-law, Arthur James Black.
Mrs. Black leaves behind to cherish loving memories of her with: a devoted husband, Mal- colm Black, Sr.; her loving chil- dren, Malcolm (Jasmine) and Latirea (Muhammed) of Riverview, FL; grandchildren, Jue’wel, Desmond, Malani, Journe’e, Tyjah, Malik and an ex- pected arrival of grandson, King Malcolm Black; father, Thomas Manuel, Jr. (step-mother, Bev- erly) of St. Petersburg, FL; sister, Tonya Thomas; and brother, Leroy Stewart (Emily) of St. Pe- tersburg, FL; step sisters, Angela Bynum, Trinette Williams (Harold), Emalya Cratic (Mark); step brother, Aaron Eu- banks of St. Petersburg, FL; nieces, Shana (Ron), Shanetta of Jacksonville, FL; nephews, Calvin and Yorel of St. Peters- burg, Breon, Derrick, and Devin of Ruskin, FL; and a host of un- cles, aunts, other nieces, nephews, cousins; father-in-law, Arthur Black; and mother-in-law, Carrie Mae Black of Jacksonville, FL; sisters-in-law, Patricia Black, Deborah King (Charles) of Jack- sonville; brother-in-law, Derrick Black (Tina) of Ruskin; and other sorrowing family members and friends.
Mrs. Katrise Lajuan Manuel Black was a champion angel. Ka- trise was born in St. Petersburg, Florida on April 8, 1960, to the late Patricia Ann Stewart and Thomas Manuel, Jr. She attended local schools in Pinellas County. She was a graduate of Dixie Hollins High School, where she was an honor student. During this time she met the love of her life, Malcolm Black, Sr. After graduation in 1978, she moved to Tampa, where she attended Hills- borough Community College. While attending Hillsborough Community College, she excelled in her field and became a Finan- cial Aid Specialist for over 20 years.
Katrise and Malcolm joined in holy matrimony on March 4, 1989. They were blessed with two wonderful children. Katrise was a hardworking wife, mother, and
grandmother.
Mrs. Black was a dedicated
member of St. John Progressive Missionary Baptist Church where she faithfully attended under the leadership of Rev. Bartholomew Banks. She was an Executive Secretary Officer of St. John Progressive MBC drill team and dance ministry, a Fis- cal Officer of Progressive Achievement Fine Arts Summer Camp and after school program, she also participated in the choir. There will be a viewing on Friday, November 26, 2016 from 5 – 8 p. m. with the family present to receive friends from 6 – 7 p. m. at St. John Progressive Missionary Baptist Church. Friends are asked to assemble at the church on Saturday at ap- proximately 10:45 a. m. for the service.

MS. ANN MARIE JONES
Funeral service for Ms. Ann Marie Jones who passed away on November 15, 2016 will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at 2 p. m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, with Pastor Chad Ed- wards, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memo- rial Park Cemetery.
Ms. Jones was preceded in death by: her parents, Marinda Livingston Frierson and Thomas Frierson.
She is survived by: her daugh- ters, Valerie Michelle Jones, Vi- vian Yvette Jones, Violet Marinda Jones and Verna Nic- hole Jones; ex-husband, Henry Jones; grandchildren, Cedrielle Troup, Derecka Howard, Shane Howard, Aleaya Howard, Lance Scott, Ashley Scott, Robert Burns, Jr. and Ambrea Burns; great grandchildren, Amarie Bryant, Samarie Bryant, Har- mony Bryant, Carter Campbell, Brianna Smith, Jayden Jones, Syria Smith; sister, Thomasenia Brannon; and husband, Steven Brannon; brother, Gregory Frierson; stepsister, Irma Sheard of Tallahassee; nieces and nephews, Chris Frierson, Stephanie Brannon, Stella Bran- non, Steven Brannon, Jr. and wife, Brenda Brannon, T. J. Frierson, Katrina Frierson; god- daughter, Belinda Faye Mack; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Ms. Ann Marie Jones was born in Tampa, Florida to the parent- age of Marinda Livingston Frier- son and Thomas Frierson on December 3, 1951. She was a Cer- tified Nursing Assistant.
There will be a viewing on Fri- day November 25, 2016 at Wil- son Funeral Home from 5 - 8 p. m. Friends are asked to assemble at the funeral home on Saturday at approximately 1:45 p. m. for the service.

MR. MARVIN ROOSEVELT LEWIS
Home going service for Mr. Marvin Roosevelt Lewis of Riverview, Florida, who de- parted this life peacefully on Saturday, November 19, 2016 will be held this Saturday, No- vember 26, 2016 at 10 a. m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, with Rev. W. D. Sims, officiating.
He was preceded in death by: parents, Roosevelt Lewis and Ida Mae Lewis; 4 brothers, Robert Berry, James Berry, Willie Mack Berry and Bill Berry; sister, Rosie Lee Hills.
He leaves to cherish fond memories with: a loving and de- voted wife of 20 years, Patrice Lewis; children, Alicia Scott (Marcus), Alisia King (James), Marva Lewis and Brodrick Bunkley; grandchildren, Adar- ius Lewis, Alexis Scott, Ciara Scott, Marcus Scott, Jr., Mya Scott, Lakeisha King, Javone King, Jayla Lewis, Jayden Lewis and Jalaycia Lewis; 3 great grandchildren; sister, Sarah Larry (Alfred); a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, including special cousins, Gloria Jean Jackson (David), Annie Ruth Matthews (Oscar), in-laws, the Rosia, Hartsfield, Bunkley, Moore and Lewis families; sis- ter-in-law, Margaret Berry; spe- cial friends, Mark Gisclair, Mark Layman, Mary Guajardo; and a host of friends at the Tampa Ship and Repair Com- pany. He will be sadly missed.
Marvin Lewis was born on June 13, 1952 and was a native of Tampa. He was educated in the public schools of Hillsbor- ough County, graduating from Hillsborough High School in 1970 and continued his educa- tion at Hillsborough Commu- nity College, graduating with an Associate Degree. He worked at Tampa Ship and Repair for 45 years as a Ship Superintendent and was a member of the Local 1207 Labor Union.
His remains will repose on Friday, November 25, 2016 at Wilson Funeral Home from 5 – 8 p. m. with the family receiving friends in the chapel from 5 – 6 p. m.
Friends are asked to assem- ble at the funeral home on Sat- urday at approximately 9:45 a. m. for the service. THERE WILL BE NO VIEWING AFTER THE EUGLOGY.
