DEACON CHARLES ROBERT SMITH, SR.
Deacon Charles Robert Smith, Sr., of Tampa, transitioned Mon- day, December 21, 2020. Wake will be Friday, January 1, 2021 from 5 p. m.-7 p. m., and Funeral Service will be conducted Saturday, January 2, 2021, at 11 a. m., both at St. John Cathedral, 3401 Bishop Eddie Newkirk Way, Tampa, FL, with Sen- ior-Pastor Dwight A. Newkirk, offi- ciating. CDC guidelines are strictly followed. Masks are required. In- terment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Deacon Charles Smith, Sr., was a native of Tampa, Florida, born to the union of the late George D. Smith, Jr. and Annie Lee Smith. He attended the public Schools of Hillsborough County. While a stu- dent at Howard W. Blake, he met the love of his life, Elder Faye Smith, who he later married, cher- ished and protected along with his children for the next 60+ years.
He was trained in the Culinary field and became a preparation Chef at Tio Pepe’ Restaurant in Clearwater, Florida, retiring after 30 years of loyal service.
Early in life, he attended St. John M. B. Church in the Garrison, later dedicating his life to the serv- ice of the Lord under the leadership of the late Bishop Eddie Newkirk at the present location. He loved help- ing people and had a passion for cooking. He served faithfully as a ready and willing worker until the end as a Deacon and Usher; served with Transportation, Hospitality and TLC Visitation Ministries; as well as working at the Open Café.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, George and Annie Lee Smith; two brothers, James and David Smith.

MR. BARRY WAYNE ROSS
A Memorial Service celebrating the life of Mr. Barry Wayne Ross, who passed December 23, 2020, will be held Saturday, January 2, 2021 at 11 A.M. at Harmon Funeral Home, 5002 N. 40th St., Tampa, FL 33610, with Apostle Otis Cooper, of Travail and Triumph Ministries, officiating.
Barry Wayne Ross was born September 17, 1960, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to the late Charles Ross and Leola Miller. He was raised in the City of Tampa and was well, well-known and respected in the neighborhood of Woodland Ter- race.
He proudly served his country enlisting in the U. S. Army. He then went on to pursue a career in com- mercial truck driving.
Barry enjoyed spending time with his family and grandkids, play- ing cards, backgammon and hang- ing out with the fellas. He was a lover of sports, a diehard Bucs fan. He was always the life of the party and very outspoken. To know him was to laugh.
He would always lend a helping hand when needed and had an un- conditional love for his loved ones.
Barry is preceded in death by: his brothers, Robert, Ronnie, and Larry, and his great granddaughter, Wy’Jhae.
He leaves to cherish precious memories with: his wife, Brenda; brothers: Michael and Dayron; his only sister, Laura; children: Ariane, Uniquea (Corey) and Tikija; grand- children, Antonio, Jr., Nasir, Niara, Cari’ae, Caidence and Chloe; great grandson, Antonio, III; nieces: Veronica, Lisa (Charles), Larissa, Ashley, Candice, Sonya, Danita, Nikesha C., Christi, April, Nakesha W. (Treyvon) and Regina; nephews: Larry, Derrick, Maurice, John, Michael, Jr., Antwuan, Damion, Mario and Darian; and a host of great nieces/nephews.

MR. JEFFREY EGBERT GROSVENOR
A Homegoing Service for Mr. Jeffrey Egbert Grosvenor, of Wes- ley Chapel, who passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2020, will be held on Tuesday, December 29th, 10:00 a.m. at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Rev. Canon Ben- jamin Twinamaani, Rector of Grace Episcopal Church, officiat- ing.
Jeffrey Egbert Grosvenor was born November 18, 1945, in St. Anne, Trinidad and Tobago to the late James Egbert Grosvenor and Sylvia Ruth (Springer) Grosvenor. He was a father, brother, uncle, nephew, coach, mentor, coun- selor, and a devoted Anglican.
A true pioneer, ambassador, and godfather to field hockey both in the New York Tri-State area and Tampa Bay region. He was a vivid fan of all sports, especially basket- ball, football, soccer and cricket.
He leaves to cherish his mem- ories: children, Janae Barnes (Jef- frey), Stefon Smith (Karina), Jamal Grosvenor (Carmen) and Christopher Grosvenor (Chris- tine); grandchildren, Bria, Elijah, Adelina and Jamison; sister, Junette Cust; uncle, S. Hugh Springer (Roslyn); niece and nephew, Cheryl-Ann Cust and Sean Cust, (Latrice); grandnieces, Anyika, Marcial and Taylor Cust; a host of cousins in the Grosvenor, Springer, Hart and Henry families, along with loving friends and god- children.

Homegoing Celebration for 100 years of life for Mrs. Eddie Mae Williams, who passed away December 23, 2020, will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2021, at 11 a. m., with a visitation one hour prior at Blount & Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories, 4207 E. Lake Ave., Tampa, FL 33610. We are following all CDC guidelines for the city of Tampa and Hillsborough County.
Mrs. Eddie Mae Williams was born to the late Warren King Hall and late Rachel Hall in Thomasville, Georgia. Educated in Thomasville, Georgia, she was a devoted wife and mother. She was a faithful member of New Salem M. B. Church, where she served as an Honorary Deaconess, was on the Usher Board and Women’s Mission.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by: husband, Henry T. Williams, a WW II vet- eran; son, Warren King Williams, Sr.; grandson, Darrel Karl Williams; and sister, Louise Hall Scott.

MR. JOHN B. WILSON, JR.
Graveside services for Mr. John B Wilson, who passed away on December 21, 2020, will be held on Saturday January 2, 2020 at Rest Haven Memorial Park, 4615 East Hanna Avenue, Tampa, Florida 33610 with Pastor Anto- nio Owens, officiating.
Mr. Wilson was born Septem- ber 11, 1949, to Mr. John Ben- jamin Wilson, Sr., and Mrs. Cora Lee Wilson, in Live Oak, FL.
John attended Blake High School of Hillsborough County where he received his diploma.
After high school, he pursued a career in drywall and stucco. Later, he became a fuel equip- ment operator at Tampa Electric for 48 years, where he was known as “JB” until he retired in 2014. John, also known as “Big Duke,” was loved by the community and enjoyed spending time at the dog track. He was a great provider and devoted to his family and friends.
Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by: his grandparents, Dan and Julia Lee Sims; parents, John and Cora Lee Wilson; and nephew, Vincent J. Ford.
