Soul Crooners Return To The Straz

Back by popular demand, Soul Crooners returns to the Straz Center for the Perform- ing Arts with an all new show, May 5-15, in the Jaeb Theater.
Faithful to the original, Soul Crooners 2 celebrates the music that ushered in a new era of soul during the ‘70s only with a new catalogue of dy- namic hits. The music was known for combining lush or- chestrations with great vocal- ists who could sing unforgettable melodies and heavenly harmonies.
In this show, directed by Nate Jacobs, founder of Sarasota’s Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe, a talented all- male cast will offer up a won- derful musical revue of ‘70s classic soul hits by the O’
Jays, Earth Wind & Fire, Al Green, Marvin Gaye, The Temptations, Donny Hathaway, The Jackson 5 and many more!
Soul Crooners 2 will play in the Jaeb Theater, May 5-15. Performances are Thursday and Friday at 7:30 p. m., and Saturday and Sunday at 2 and 7:30 p. m.
