Tiger Woods Says He Played His First
Kevin Durant Fires Back At Mavericks Owner Mark Cuban For Westbrook Comments: ‘He’s An Idiot’
Dallas Mavericks guard Justin An- derson (1) guards Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant (35) during the third quarter of game 5.
Before Game 5, Mavericks owner Mark Cuban made na- tional headlines by saying he doesn’t believe Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook is a superstar.
Not surprisingly, Cuban’s comments drew strong re- sponses after Westbrook’s 36-point, 12-rebound, 9-assist performance in Game 5. Not surprisingly, no one sided with Cuban. Whatsoever.
When a reporter tried to ask Westbrook what he thought of Cuban’s comments, Thun- der teammate Kevin Durant intercepted, strongly.
“He’s an idiot,” Durant said. “Don’t listen to him. He’s an idiot. That’s what we’ve got to say about that. He’s an idiot.”
Westbrook just shook his head and smiled. What was he going to say to top Durant’s rebuttal?

Holes Since August On Monday
We have some irreconcilable facts on our hands after Tiger Woods opened up Bluejack National in Houston on Mon- day with some swings.
There had previously been reports that Woods has been playing holes in Florida over the past few weeks. Tim Rosaforte of Golf Channel said last week that Woods has been “involved in a series of four-to-five-hour practice ses- sions at Medalist Golf Club ... including the playing of some holes,” while Notah Begay noted Tiger was on the “back half of his progression” when it comes to his recovery from back surgery.
One problem. Woods him- self said his outing in Houston — where he opened up his first domestic golf course design

and showed off his swing for a crowd of people — was the very first time he’s played any holes since last August.
“I’m definitely a little tired but I feel pretty good,” Woods told reporters after the event. “I haven’t been out here play- ing like this. I hadn’t played any holes until today. I know people have said I’ve played holes back at Medalist, but I haven’t. This is actually the first time I’ve played holes since Wyndham. It’s been awhile.”
Kevin Ollie Finds Lakers Job ‘Intriguing’
UConn head coach Kevin Ollie said he finds the open Lakers job “intriguing,” ac- cording to the Los Angeles Daily News’ Mark Medina.
Ollie has three years re- maining on a five-year exten- sion he signed in 2014, but has a clause in his contract that would allow him to leave for another team without incur- ring fees from a buyout, Med- ina reports.

The 43-year-old took over as head coach of the Huskies in 2012 and won a national championship that season.

ESPN television personality Skip Bayless and his crazy statements are leaving the net- work at the end of the NBA Fi- nals.

“Skip Bayless has decided to leave ESPN when his con- tract expires at the end of Au- gust. His final appearance on First Take will be the day after the NBA Finals conclude.”
“We want to thank Skip for his many contributions to ESPN. His hard work and tal- ent have benefited ESPN for 12

years.”
It has been reported that
Skip Bayless turned down a $4 million offer from ESPN to stay put. If the reports of him going to Fox Sports are true, expect even more outlandish statements.
