a/k/a Grandpa, the Mayor of Wimauma and Deacon James M. Berrien
The birthday celebration will take place at 5803 Vel Street, in Wimauma, Florida, on September 7, 2019, at 1 p.m., with family and friends. He will be celebrating 99 years on the earth!
His official birthday is on September 5th.
Book Signings Planned For First Baptist Church Of College Hill
Charles Frederick (Fred) Hearns held a third book presentation and book signing on Tuesday, August 13, 2019, on It’s Your Move,” an autobiography by the Reverend Abra- ham Brown. The event was held at the C. Blythe Andrews, Jr. Public Library. Refresh- ments for the event were provided by Friends of the C. Blythe Andrews, Jr. Public Library.
On Sunday, September 8, 2019, Hearns will make presentations and sign books after the 7:30 a. m. and 10 a. m. services at First Baptist Church of College Hill, 3838 N. 29th St., where Rev. Brown was a member and eventually became the pastor. His family still maintains membership at First Baptist.
