Drake Blesses Univ. Of Miami Student With $50,000 To Attend School
They don’t call Drake the 6God for nothing.
Drake dipped into his pock- ets on Monday (Feb. 5), to gift one student at the University of Miami with $50,000. Drizzy wrote the check to go towards the student’s college tuition.
Drake reportedly gave Destiny James the money after hearing about the finan- cial struggle she was having. Jones reportedly applied for multiple scholarships, but un- fortunately none of them came through.
Finally, she was offered the opportunity to record a video discussing her background and the importance the scholar- ship. And to her surprise, Drake made the donation.

she wrote.
The generous donation
comes shortly after Drake made another contribution to predominantly Black, Miami Senior High School. After he made a bunch of teenagers’ day by filming his new video for “God’s Plan” on their campus, he awarded the school with a $25,000 check. As well as pur- chased uniforms for the entire school.

Jennifer Lopez has been hinting at a collaboration with rapper and fellow Bronx na- tive, Cardi B for months now.
On Tuesday (Feb. 6) the for- mer Fly Girl confirmed the two indeed have a song to- gether.
“I feel like you already know that I collaborated with Cardi B,” reports People, via Latina.com. “The name of the song is ‘Dinero.’ I don’t know what the video is going to be yet but we’ll see what we come up with.”
Jennifer Lopez and Cardi B have been rumored to having a DJ Khaled produced song to- gether. Now it has been con- firmed.
Don Lemon’s sister passed away last week in an ac- cidental drowning in Louisiana. She was 58.

According to the New Orleans Times-Picayune, L’Tanya “Leisa” Lemon Grimes drowned after falling into a neighborhood pond while fishing in Livingston Parish, La. Her death appeared to be accidental.

Kevin Hart To Star In Animated TV Pilot ‘Lil Kev’ Based On His Young Life
Kevin Hart is getting ani- mated.
The actor/comedian will star in and executive-produce an an- imated Fox sitcom based on his childhood, according to Dead- line.

SWV’s Cheryl “Coko” Clemmons shared some un- expected news via her personal website. She and her husband of 15 years, Mike Clemmons, are getting a divorce.

According to Essence.com, Coko and Mike met in 1995 when he was a drummer for SWV. The relationship started out as business, but turned personal. Coko and Mike share a son, Jalen, 14. Coko also has a grown son, Jazz, with Ishmael “But- terfly” Butler of Digable Planets.

‘Black Panther’ Star, Michael B. Jordan Reveals He Still Lives With His Parents

ing under his parents’ roof, Jordan admitted that he’s looking to change his situation rather quickly.
Jordan hasn’t had much time to find somewhere else to live because he has been super busy. The actor has a solidly booked schedule with a num- ber of huge blockbuster films.
Jordan is set to star along- side a stellar cast in the up- coming Black Panther film on Feb. 16. Then he’s moving on to start filming for Creed 2 in Apr. 2018, and is also prepar- ing for his directorial debut.

The 20-year-old reality star shared the news on social media Tuesday, posting a photo of her holding her daughter’s hand.

Inciting Riot Travis Scott pled guilty to
disorderly conduct nine months after the rapper was ar- rested for allegedly inciting a riot during a concert in Arkansas.
Scott, who was charged under his real name Jacques Webster, was arrested and initially charged with inciting a riot, disorderly conduct and en- dangering the welfare of a minor in May 2017 during his concert.
“They overcharged him,” Norwood said. “They tried to get him for inciting a riot. The video did not show any of that.”
