MRS. LULA MAE PARKER
Mrs. Lula Mae Parker, affec- tionately known as “Madear” of Tampa, answered the call of her loving Savior on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 as she transitioned quietly and peacefully to end her earthly journey and rest from labor to re- ward in the arms of Jesus.
A Homegoing Celebration will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at 11 a. m. at The First Baptist Church of Progress Village, 8722 Progress Blvd., Tampa, 33619, with Dr. Sam Maxwell, officiating. The inter- ment will follow In Rest Haven Cemetery.
She was born on September 23, 1937 in Desoto, Georgia and later moved to Tampa. She resided in Ybor City but, eventually made her home in Progress Village where she lived for over 50 years. Her Christian journey began at an early age at Mt. Able Baptist Church in Lee County, Georgia. In the early 60’s she became a member of The First Baptist Church of Progress Village where she served in several ministries until failing health would no longer permit. She was educated in the public schools of Lee County, Georgia and was a graduate of Brandon Evening Adult School. Her working career expanded over many years and she later retired from the former Bar- nett Bank.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Henry and Magnolia Williams; 6 siblings, Alfred, Addie Blanche, Thomas, C. W., Henry, and Mary Nell.
She leaves to celebrate her life’s journey and carry on her legacy with her loving children, Calvin Davis, Sr., Gail McCall, Jacqueline Mix, Marilyn Hamilton (Kenneth), Regina Hightower, Matthew Parker, Jr., Linda Young, Edwin Parker and Kevin Parker; grand- children, Calvin Davis, II (Ky- onne), Dwight Brown, II, Deidre McCall, Derek Brown, Dwayne Sanders, Jr., Ryan McCall, Devyni Hightower, Jocelynn Townsend, Brandon Hightower, A’Leshia Campbell, Christopher Hightower, Demetrius Edwards and Kim Parker; great-grandchildren: Joshua Smith (Esmeralda), Na- taliya Davis, D’Ante Ford, Cal’lina Davis, D’Jaida Brown, Zariah Hightower-Shuler and Ra’Maya McCall; great-great grandchildren, Jordan Smith and Joshua Smith, Jr.; goddaughter, Edna Eaton; god- son: Pastor Andre Wright; a host of nieces including 2 special nieces, Vernice Jones and Deanne Hen- derson, nephews, cousins, The First Family of First Baptist Church of Progress Village and the Progress Village neighbors of Bahia Avenue and 87th Street along with other sorrowing relatives and friends to include her great grand puppy, Marley.
Viewing will be held on Friday at First Baptist Church of Progress Village from 5-8 p. m. with the fam- ily being present from 6-7 p. m. Friends are asked to assemble at the church on Saturday at approx- imately 10:45 a. m. for the service.

MS. VALRIE ALFREDA WILLIAMS
Ms. Valrie Alfreda Williams was born December 4, 1953 to the late Amanda and Alphonso Williams in Tampa. She at- tended Hillsborough County Public Schools, and was em- ployed in Hillsborough County.
Valrie was preceded in death by her mother, Amanda Williams and brother, Henry Gillette, Sr.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her loving daughter, Vonda Williams, Tampa; grand- children, DeQuan Smith, Cheyenne Wilburn, and Dejah Jenkins, Tampa; sister, Ella Williams, Tampa; brothers, William Gillette, Sr., Alvin Bunche, Sr. and wife, Mary Bunche; aunt, Mildred Thomas and Luzella Williams; nieces Shonese Gardner Santana Williams, Markita Gillette, Dar- lene Belgrave and husband, Nor- man, Desiree Moore and husband, Brenda Bunche, Lesley Bunche, Alvina Bunche and Phoebe Andrews, and husband, Zane, Tampa; nephews Telando Gardner, Jr., Kaidyn Vinson, Keith Gillette and wife, Tameka, Javon Gillette and wife, Kim, Alvin Bunche, Jr., Kevin Gillette, and William Gillette, Jr., New York, and a host of nieces and nephews and other family and friends; devoted friends, Thomas Grimes and Carla Reid.
The service is Saturday, July 2, 2016, 11 a. m. at First Baptist church of college Hill, 3838 North 29th street, Tampa 33605.
MR. JIMMIE (GENT) JUNIOR CONDRY
Mr. Jimmie (Gent) Junior Condry was born to the late Eddie Lee Condry, Sr., and Annie Kate (Crews) Condry on June 2, 1953 in Eufaula, Ala- bama.
He was preceded in death by his late nephew, Kenneth Causey.
Jimmie was educated in the Hillsborough County School Sys- tem. Jimmie will be remem- bered as a loving brother, caring uncle, and devoted friend.
Left to cherish fun-loving memories: brothers, Eddie Condry (Marinette), Eddie Charles Condry, Randall (Randy) Condry, Reginald (Andy) Condry, Shawn and Don- ald Condry; sisters, Nettie Condry, Mary Condry, and Charlette (Lisa) Oyiekoya (Olayinka); aunts, Nettie Jewell, and Susie; cousins, Cookie Dykes (Jimmy); nieces and nephews, Michelle, Willie Mae, Samuel, Eddie, III, Carl, Anto- nio, Randolph, James, Sr., Eve- lyn, Randall, Jr., Ebony, Brittany, Kaitlin, Donald, Jr., Trey, Deylin, Nyla, Seyi, and Regina; great nieces and nephews, Chance, Jr., Daniel, Mekhi, Samaria, Samuel, Nylani, James, Jr., Elijah, and Derek; great, great niece, Kaitlyn.
A private family service will be held Saturday, July 2nd, 11:30 a.m.
