MRS. EDNA ELIZABETH LOCKER
Mrs. Edna Elizabeth Locker of Tampa passed away Friday, July 8, 2016. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, July 23 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Chad’s Episco- pal Church, 5609 N. Albany Av- enue, with the Reverend Father, Christian Villagomeza, officiat- ing.
Mrs. Locker was a native of Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. She was a longtime resident of Tampa for 40 years. She was a member of HOPE, St. James Episcopal Church Choir and she last at- tended St. Chad’s Episcopal Church. She retired from Tampa General Hospital where she worked as a Radiology Clerk for 23 years.

A home going celebration for Mrs. Evelyn D. Jackson (White), better known as “Bay Bay” or “Lady J,” who passed away on July 15, 2016, will be held on Sat- urday, July 23, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at International Harvest Center Church of God, 5512 N. 47th Street, Tampa, Bishop Frances Maxwell, Pastor, officiating. In- terment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Jackson-White was pre- ceded in death by: her parents, Dovie Lee Jackson and Curtis C. Jackson, Sr.; younger sister, Cheryl Jackson; and younger brother, Curtis C. “Dead Eyes” Jackson, Jr.

“Bay Bay” was born on Janu- ary 5, 1958 in Tampa, to the parentage of Dovie Lee Jackson and Curtis C. Jackson, Sr. She was a loving mother, wife and a loving person to everyone she came in contact with. She was a woman of her word and knew the Lord and how to be a home maker. “Lady J” was a mother before all things. She loved her kids, grandkids and husband dearly. “Lady J” loved fishing, spending time with her family and she loved to go shopping. She was always the life of the party with her straight forward words, laughs and talks.
There will be a viewing on Fri- day July 22, 2016 at Wilson Fu- neral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. Friends are asked to assemble at the church on Saturday at ap- proximately 1:45 p.m.

Deaconess Virginia Gail Billups of Tampa, passed away Friday, July 15, 2016. Funeral services will be conducted Satur- day, July 23 at 11:00 a.m. at New Salem Missionary Baptist Church, 8525 North 78th Avenue, Temple Terrace, FL 33637 with Pastor Henry J. Lyons, officiat- ing. Interment will be Monday, July 25, at 11 a.m. in Florida Na- tional Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, FL 33513.
Mrs. Virginia Gail Billups was a native of Jacksonville, FL and relocated to Tampa 52 years ago. She attended Douglas An- derson Elementary, Middle, Jun- ior, Senior School of Jacksonville, from 1st grade thru 12th grade. She enrolled in Florida A&M University immedi- ately following her high school graduation. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and the Deaconess Ministry for New Salem Missionary Baptist Church. She was employed with Blake High School, Anheuser- Busch and retired from Reynolds Aluminum. After her retirement she opened her own Nail Salon – Nail Menagerie.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Maurice Clinton Brown, Sr. and Alberta Simpo Brown; and brother, Maurice Clinton Brown, Jr.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her devoted husband of 31 years, Deacon John Nelson Billups; sister, Barbara Jean Brown; daughters, Vivian Ce- leste Alvarez and Tamara Darcell Estrill-Lett (Jearl); step-daugh- ters, Yolanda Yvette Billups and Jacqueline Anntonette Billups; grandchildren, Christian Flem- ing Alvarez, Darren Maurice Al- varez, Lea Loren Estrill, Alec Antonio Estrill and Noah Jemi- son Lett; step grandchildren, Savina Donitia Billups and Lemecia Toria Billups; beloved sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins and a host of loving relatives and de- voted friends.

MR. LEONARD A. JORDAN
Mr. Leonard A. Jordan, also known as “LJ”, “Brooks”, “The Good Brook”, “Jordan”, “Prime”, and “Senior” of Bran- don, FL, passed away Sunday, July 17, 2016. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, July 22 at 7:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Progress Village, 8616 Progress Boulevard, with Minis- ter Cornelius D. Bobo, Sr., pre- siding and Reverend Andrew Jordan, eulogist.
Mr. Leonard A. Jordan was a native of Orangeburg, South Carolina where he was educated in the public school system. He graduated from Claflin Univer- sity, South Carolina State Uni- versity, and Strayer University. He joined the brotherhood of Phi Beta Sigma, Omicron Chapter while attending Claflin Univer- sity and remained a faithful and loyal member in various chap- ters during his life, his final Chapter Gamma Eta Sigma, Tampa, Florida. He retired from the United States Air Force as Senior Master Sergeant in 2006 after 24 years of honorable serv- ice. He served as President of the Hickory Lakes Estates Home Owners Association for numer- ous years until he became ill. He was a volunteer with Life Link from 2011 to 2016.
Leonard was preceded in death by: his parents, Andrew Louise and Christlo Jordan, Sr.; a fa- ther figure, John Stigner; sib- lings, John Wesley and Ethel Lumisher Jordan.
He leaves to cherish in his memories: his loving and de- voted wife of 38 years, Cathy Jor- dan; daughter, Angelina Jordan, Brandon, FL; sister, Clara Abra- ham (Nathaniel), Orangeburg SC; brothers, Christlo Jordan, Jr., Orangeburg, SC, Andrew Jordan (Shirley), Riverdale, GA, Thaddeus Jordan (Natalie), New York, and Terrance Jordan (Gina), Orangeburg, SC; broth- ers-in-law, Alvin Jones (Alice), Cordova, SC and Michael Jones (Denise), Islandton, SC; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Mr. Kelly Evanda Stacy, Sr. was a native of St. Augustine, Florida. He was a resident of Tampa Central Park Village for many years and was educated in the public schools of Hillsbor- ough County.
He was preceded in death by: his grandmothers, Ethel Douglas and Eva Stacy; grandfathers, Johnny Stacy, Sr. and Lacey Farmer.
