REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS NO. Q-010-16 FEDERAL GOVERNMENT RELATIONS CONSULTANT
Port Tampa Bay (PTB) is soliciting Request for Qualifications (RFQ) from qualified firms or individuals interested in providing Federal Government Relations and Legislative Liaison Services at the federal level.
All interested firms will obtain a copy of the solicitation instructions and submittal documents and submit a completed response to Port Tampa Bay, 1101 Channelside Drive, 4th Floor, Tampa, FL 33602. Submittals are due by 1:00 p.m., Thursday, August 18, 2016, and responses will be opened at the same date and time.
PTB will hold A MANDATORY PRE-QUALIFICATION TELECONFERENCE on Friday, July 29, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. PTB will only accept proposals submitted by firms participating in the teleconference. See Section A, Paragraph 1.1 and Attachment 4 of the solicitation for teleconference details.
All RFQ submittals shall include a letter indicating the Firm’s interest and completion of the RFQ Documents, including a Questionnaire. Firms failing to submit the required RFQ Documents may be deemed non-responsive to the RFQ. The RFQ is available through the DemandStar System (www.demandstar.com) or through a link on PTB web site (www.porttb.com).
PTB encourages the use of registered Small Business Enterprise (SBE) firms to the greatest extent possible on projects and has a goal of nine percent (9%) SBE participation. PTB will consider SBE participation when evaluating the responses.

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS CITY OF TAMPA
Mixed Use Development Downtown Tampa Community Redevelopment Area
ALL INTERESTED PARTIES:
The City of Tampa and the Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of Tampa, (collectively the “City”) hereby give notice pursuant to Part III, Chapter 163, Florida Statutes, of their request for submission of proposals from qualified and experienced applicants for the acquisition (purchase) of a city block located north of Jackson St., east of Florida Ave., South of Kennedy Blvd., and west of Marion St.
The City’s intent in the sale of the land is to encourage residential and or office and or hospitality and retail development on the site and to help stimulate the redevelopment of Downtown Tampa CRA. Therefore, responsive proposals will demonstrate, (1) successful experience in the development of residential/office/retail in downtown areas, (2) architectural sensitivity to the proposed site, adjacent buildings and activities, and (3) satisfactory financial references. Proposals shall address planning, design, financing, construction and timing and project implementation. The City of Tampa will require that as part of the purchase price for the land that approximately 2 floors (approximately 200 spaces) of parking is developed for the ownership of the City of Tampa to be used as public parking. Additional public parking as part of the development is strongly encouraged.
Proposals are due no later than 4:00 P.M. on Friday, September 9, 2016 to the City of Tampa Purchasing Department office, located at 306 E. Jackson St., Tampa, Florida 33602
