MRS. ANITA RUTH HARVEY SNEAD
Mrs. Anita Ruth Harvey Snead, age 60, died on Thursday, August 4, 2016 in Florida Hospital, Tampa. She was born in Boynton Beach, Florida to the late Ernest Harvey and Willa Daniel Edwards. She was the wife of Bernard Eu- gene Snead and mother of Aaron Snead of 1101 Madison Street, Plant City.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 604 West Ball Street, Plant City, 33563.
Burial services will be on Mon- day, August 15, 2016 at Orange Hill Cemetery in Tampa.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Florida Hospital for their atten- tiveness of care; they especially ap- preciate the many prayers from family and friends that loved her.
Anita was preceded in death by her brother, Ernest Harvey.
She leaves to cherish her mem- ories: a husband of 25 years, Bernard E. Snead; son, Aaron Snead; mother, Willa Edwards, and five sons by marriage: Bernard, Jr. (Shontell), Roscoe, Anthony (wife), Eric (Kenya), Ryan (Britney), and Corey (Tamara); brother-in-law, Norris (Cathy), sis- ter-in-law, Janice Snead, both of Thonotosassa; uncle, Charles (Jacque); 4 aunts, Alice Long and Verdell D. Raines, both of Plant City, Janet Simon (Curtis) of South Carolina, Vernell Daniel of Hart- ford, Conn., and Maudestine Jones of Atlantic City, New Jersey; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, spe- cial friend, Irish Miller, and many other sorrowful friends and ac- quaintances.

Homegoing service for Mrs. Peggy W. Henderson who de- parted this life after a lengthy ill- ness on July 31, 2016, surrounded by her loving family and supportive friends, will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2016, 11 a. m. at 29th Street Church of Christ, 3310 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Minister Perry Johnson, with Minister Demetrius V. Bryant of Hillsbor- ough Church of Christ, officiat- ing and Minister Howard Bouldin, Leesburg Church of Christ, Eulogist. Interment will be held on Monday, August 15, 2016 at 11 a. m. at Florida Na- tional Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents and all of her sib- lings.
She leaves to mourn her passing: her husband of 62 years, Julius C. Peggy W. Henderson was born on February 10, 1932 in Albany, GA, to Lawyer and Sallie Wooden. Peggy met and married her husband, Julius C. Hender- son, Jr. on June 5, 1954 and set- tled in Tampa. Peggy began attending the 29th Street Church of Christ where she labored faithfully for many years until her death.
Viewing will be held at 29th Street Church of Christ on Fri- day, August 12, 2016, from 5 p. m. – 8 p. m. and the family will be there to receive friends from 5 p. m. – 6 p. m. Friends are asked to assemble at the church on Sat- urday at approximately 10:45 a. m. for the service.

MR. FREDRICK ‘MOOKIE’ POLITE
A celebration of life service for Fredrick “Mookie” Polite will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2016, 2 p. m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 North 29th Street, Tampa, with Superintendent Clethen Sutton, Pastor, Miracle Temple Church of God in Christ, officiating. Interment will follow at Orange Hill Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by: his father, Fredrick Polite; pater- nal grandparents, Willie James Polite and Constance B. Polite; aunts, Ella Burr and LaTonya Wilson; and his close friend and cousin, Corey Polite.
Mr. Polite leaves to cherish unforgettable, fond and loving memories of him with: his mother, Mary Burr; maternal grandparents, Roosevelt (Claretha) Burr, Sr.

As a young kid, “Mookie” loved playing soccer. He also loved playing drums for Corner Stone Church, Tampa, while in the after school program. He was a very good track runner. In 1990, “Mookie” went to Washing- ton, D. C. to participate in the 1990 Special Olympics and won several medals. He was also an avid chess player.
As a young man, “Mookie” worked alongside his father doing landscaping, plumbing, and repairing automobiles. He became a gifted tradesman while working with his father.
There will be a viewing on Friday, August 12, 2016, from 5 p. m. – 8 p. m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 North 29th Street, Tampa. Friends are asked to as- semble at the chapel at approxi- mately 1:45 p. m. for the service.
