SISTER DELORES HOLT
Funeral services for Sister Delores Ann Holt, who passed away on October 21, 2018, will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 11 a.m., at First Union Methodist Church, 37628 Church Avenue, Dade City, FL 33525, with Pastor Alvin McKenzie, officiating. Inter- ment will take place in Floral Memory Gardens, Zephyrhills, FL.
Sister Holt was born on De- cember 9, 1952 in Dade City, FL to Joyce Mae (Broxton) Knight and the late Elbert Willis, in Dade City, FL. She received her early education in the Pasco County, FL School System. She grew up in the Bine Hills neigh- borhood of Zephyrhills, FL and later moved to Krusen Quarters (aka: Lincoln Heights). She at- tended Moore-Mickens High School and graduated from Zephyrhills High School. She married her high school sweet- heart and remained married for 44 wonderful years.
Sister Holt was a proud mil- itary wife and enjoyed traveling with her husband and family. Through the years of living in numerous states and abroad (Italy) she gained many friends; many of which she remained in close contact with.
After settling back in her
hometown of Zephyrhills, Sister Holt began working as a Jewelry Manager for the K-Mart Corpo- ration.
Even after retiring, she con- tinued to work several days a week at Oriental Fish Co. in Tampa... nothing ever slowed her down.
Sister Holt accepted Christ at an early age and later re- newed her faith as a faithful member of Victorious Church of God in Christ, where she served as President of the Usher Board. She was also President of the Ocala District Usher Board, a Western Florida Jurisdiction Usher Trainer and Treasurer, in addition to being an active member in the International Usher Department.
Sister Holt was preceded in death by: her father, Elbert Willis; sisters, Dorothy Willis; and KeKe Willis.
Mrs. Holt leaves to cherish her memories: her husband and partner, Edward Holt; two chil- dren: Tiki Holt of Tampa, and Cassandra Holt Thomas (War- ren) of Wesley Chapel; 3 beloved grandchildren, Devin Thomas, Nicholas Thomas and Amaya Thomas; a devoted mother, Joyce Mae Knight; 12 brothers, Early Dee Knight (Cherral), Johnny Knight, Ken- neth Knight (Pat), Marvin Knight of Tampa; Albert Willis (Alice), Roy Willis (Brenda), Robert Willis, Freddie Willis of Cocoa, FL; Rodney Willis of Tampa, Mark Willis (Stephenya) of Miami, Keith Willis of Atlanta, GA and Enoch Willis of St. Petersburg; 8 sis- ters Audrey Jean Knight Tol- bert, Felicia Knight Echols (Willie), Arlene Knight Tim- mons (Taylor), Nadine Knight Snow (Ed) of Tampa, Leatha Willis Smith, Sarah Willis of Rockledge, FL, Thelma Willis Hawkins of Melbourne, FL and Mary Brown of Tampa, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends.

         MS. GERALDINE JOHNSON
Ms. Geraldine Johnson passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, October 18, 2018, at the age of 83. She will be sadly missed by her friends and church family members.
Funeral services will be held at St. Luke AME Church, 2709 N. 25th Street, Tampa, Florida 33605, on Saturday, October 27th at 1 p. m. with Reverend Kirk R. Bogen, MDiv, Pastor of St. Luke AME Church, officiating. The com- mittal will be made at the church.
Ms. Geraldine Johnson was born December 25, 1935. She was a faithful member of St. Luke A. M. E. Church and was well known in her community as a free- hearted person who welcomed those in need into her home with love and words of encouragement.
She is survived by her church family and her kind neighbors.
Friends are asked to arrange for the processional at the church at 12:45 p. m.

Homegoing Celebration for Ransom (R. L.) Lee Pettermon, Sr., who departed this life on Oc- tober 20, 2018 at his residence of 5817 E. 30th Ave., Tampa, FL, 33619, will be held at St. Matthew Missionary Baptist Church, 3708 E. Lake Ave., Tampa, 33610, with Rev. W. D. Sims, officiating. In- terment will be made in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
R. L. was the only son and off- spring of Tom Lee Peterman and Agaree John-Young, both of En- terprise, Alabama.
R. L. was preceded in death by: his father, Tom Lee Peterman, mother, Agaree John-Young, sons, Tommie Lee Petermon and Randall Greg Peterman; father- in-law, Willie Nellons; and mother-in-law, Gladys Palmer.
R. L. relocated to Tampa as a teenager. Not long after, obtain- ing employment with Seaboard Coastline Railroad, and retiring as a Foreman after 31 years of service.
Best known throughout the Bay Area and Florida for his Gospel related adventures, but not limited to: A Radio Host on WTMP’s Sunday Gospel program- ming, sometimes along with Goldie Thompson, Promoter of Gospel Talent into the Tampa Bay area and famously, as a founding member of R. L. Pettermon and The Heavenly Trumpets, whom all of the original members had preceded him in death.
R. L. Pettermon was an entre- preneur of sorts: owned and op- erated Pettermon Fuel Oil, Pettermon and Sons Grocery, off of 40th and Osborne and, Petter- mon Trucking, just to name a few.
A God-fearing, generous and over protector of family, R. L. leaves to cherish his memory: spouse, Willie Ruth Pettermon; his children, Raymond Lee Peter- mon, Yolanda (Jenerald) Colston, Yvette Pettermon, Shirley Gail Pettermon, Gerald J. Pettermon, Ransome L. Peterman, Jr., Sgt. Stanley Eric Pettermon, Desiree (Thomas) Peterman-Smith, Howard (Timiko) W. Peterman, Ronald (Tina) J. Pettermon, Willie J. Pettermon, and Eric (Shaconya) Kendrick; 29 grand kids, 40 great-grand kids, 2 great- great grand kids; special mater- nal 1st cousins; Ernestine (Bobby) Vinson of Peoria, IL, and Mary John of Vernon, FL; and a huge host of nieces, nephews, paternal and maternal cousins from Pal- metto, Bonifay, Chipley, Caryville and Vernon, Florida, Pontiac Mich., Montevallo, Tuscaloosa, Bellwood, Hartford and Enter- prise, Alabama.
Visitation for R. L. Pettermon, Sr. will be held Friday evening, October26,from5p.m.to8p.m. Family will receive visitors from 7p.m.–8p.m.
The service and processional will assemble at the church at 10 a. m. on Saturday.

A Celebration of Life for Ms. Sharon Denise Harley will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2018, at 2 p. m. at Exciting Faith Alive Church, 5705 E. 32nd Av- enue, Tampa, 33610, Rev. Anto- nio Hawkins, Pastor, with Rev. James Anderson, pastor of New Fellowship Baptist Church in Tampa, officiating. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Ceme- tery.
Sharon Denise Harley was born in Brevard County, Cocoa Florida to Mr. George and Annie Harley. She was educated through Hillsborough County Public Schools.
Sharon was an extraordinary woman, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend.
On Friday, October 12, 2018, God called her home for her eter- nal rest.
She was preceded in death by: her father George Harley; uncles, Willie Arthur Harley, Albert Harley, Joece Harley, OB Harley; grandmother, Willie Ella Harley; grandfather, Odis Harley; aunts, Donzellar Harley, Johnnie Mae Harley, Flora Jean Brown; sister, Marylene Vickers and nephew, Samija Vickers.
