Durant, LeBron, Kawhi Work Out Together At UCLA
LeBron James, Kevin Durant and Kawhi Leonard all worked out together.
NBA Rookies Believe The Kevin Knox Hype, Too
An All-Star crew of players apparently got together at UCLA for a workout on Tues- day.
A photo showing LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Kawhi Leonard and Cedi Osman posing together at UCLA made the rounds.
UCLA is a popular place for NBA players and other top basketball players to gather for high-level training and work- outs over the summer. Le- Bron being there makes even more sense now that he’s liv-
ing in LA and part of the Lak- ers.
Leonard is from River- side County, which is east of Los Angeles. He’s made his de- sire to eventually play for the Lakers pretty well known.
Osman earned LeBron’s respect when the two were teammates on the Cavaliers. And even though they’ve com- peted against each other in the last two NBA Finals, Durant and LeBron have long held mutual respect for one an- other.
Kevin Knox just got some love from his fellow rookies, but perhaps a few more chips for his shoulder, too.
Knox’s dominant sum- mer league appeared to im- press his fellow rookies, but not enough to move to the top spot in any of the categories in a recent NBA.com survey of 36 rookies.
The Knicks’ No. 9-overall draft pick in June tied for third in a prediction of who would take home Rookie of the Year honors. Suns for- ward Deandre Ayton and Cavaliers guard Collin Sex- ton led the way, each with 18 percent of the vote, but Knox and Mavericks guard Luka Doncic were next, each gar- nering 9 percent of the vote.
Knox also came in second in a vote for the rookie who would have the best career.
KEVIN KNOX
Bulls big man Wendell
Carter, Jr. took home top honors with 13 percent of the vote — the fifth straight Duke player to win the category — but Knox and Clippers guard Jerome Robinson were close behind with 10 percent
each.
Last year, Knicks rookie
Frank Ntilikina didn’t re- ceive a single vote in any of the categories.
Knox made first team during summer league, show- ing off a natural scoring knack that sometimes was not there at Kentucky. But Knox has said the Knicks’ success is more important to him than his own.
“I’m pretty confident I can be one of the top rookies,” Knox told The Post earlier this month. “But one of my goals this year is just to win in New York. I’m not really wor- ried about winning the rookie award. I just want to win as a team, take road games, play some of the top teams and beat them to make the play- offs. Ultimately I want to win. That’s my main focus as my rookie year.”
Dwyane Wade Catches Jimmy Butler Slobbering Over His Wife
   Easy, Jimmy Butler.
After Dwyane Wade’s wife, Gabrielle Union, posted a sultry snap on Insta- gram, the Minnesota Timber- wolves star made it clear he liked what he saw.
“WELL DAMN!!” wrote Butler, 28.
It wasn’t long before Wade, 36, Union’s husband, shut the small forward down.
“MINE!” exclaimed Wade, followed by three emojis featuring drooling faces.
Butler tagged Columbia basketball star Mike Smith, writing, “the good, the bad, and the ugly aka @ayey- oomike_,” before he got one last warning from Wade.

“Put well damn in caps on my wife photo again and you’re gonna see what the good, the bad and the ugly is like,” Wade wrote.
Butler then threw up the white flag. “Well that esca- lated quickly. Point noted ... I’m still coming to the bbq tho,” he wrote.

session of marijuana, a misde- meanor, and taken to police headquar- ters for pro- cessing. He was re-
leased shortly thereafter and paid $500 bail. Two others were ticketed and released at the scene.
Police said Faried faced a more serious charge because he was in possession of more than 2 ounces of weed.
