Last week, fans fiending for nostalgia were treated to an impromptu The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air reunion courtesy of Will Smith, who helped transform the show into a cul- tural phenomenon. Eminem is heralded as one of the most gifted lyricists to ever live. But during his recent three-hour Shade45 radio show special Music To Be Quaran- tined By, the celebrated MC re- vealed who he believes is the greatest songwriter of all time — Tupac Shakur.
As Shady was getting ready to play “If I Die Tonight” from ‘Pac’s 1995 classic Me Against The World, he explained how he came to that conclusion.
“OK, this next song is from an artist who I feel like might be the greatest songwriter of all time,” he begins. “Debate what you want about MC skills and all that, because he had that too. This is one of them songs by 2Pac that, to me, he was show- ing you, ‘I can write heartfelt s**t and I can write lyrical, crazy s**t too.’
‘They say p**y and paper is poetry, power and pistols/Plot- ting on murdering m****fu**as ‘fore they get you’ — like, the play on the ‘p’ words and all that s**t and how he was doing it was so crazy, mixed with the feel that 2Pac could give you, which is constantly why I feel like he was saying, ‘Can you feel me?’ be- cause you felt ‘Pac. You can’t just listen to ‘Pac, you feel ‘Pac. If you listen to him, you gonna feel him.”
Em announced the three- hour special last week. The

playlist included some of Shady’s favorite tracks from artists such as Beastie Boys, MC Lyte, Mobb Deep, Nas, The Notorious B.I.G., Run- DMC, Wu-Tang Clan and — of course — ‘Pac.
“It’s what I wanna hear, basi- cally,” he told Sway Calloway on Thursday (April 29) to which his longtime manager Paul Rosenberg said, “And recom- mend people to listen to as well.”
‘Pac released four albums during his 25 short years on the planet, including Pacalypse Now (1991), Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z. (1993), Me Against the World (1995) and — what proved to be his final album while he was alive — All Eyez On Me (1996).

Trina Goes On Ether-Fueled Rant On Why She Won’t Instagram Battle Khia
MIAMI, FL – Trina has zero interest in battling Khia, dis- missing the “My Neck, My Back” creator as not in her league. After Khia said she would dominate the gold-sell- ing rapper in an Instagram Live battle, Trina issued a fiery response on Miami radio station 99 Jamz.
“I’m a queen; this is called royalty over here,” she stated. “I’m not stepping off my throne to address no bum, no chicks that are beneath me and nobody that hasn’t worked as hard as I worked for anything.”
She continued, “So when you girls or whatever you

wannabe are calling my name, you wanna battle me, you wanna do all this — first of all, make sure you have 10 hits.
Make sure you have enough records. Make sure you’re on my level if you think you wanna go toe-to-toe with me ’cause you cannot. Let’s make that very clear.”
Trina’s no-holds-barred rant was in stark contrast to Khia’s boasting, which saw her laughing about a clash with her rival. Khia was unfamiliar with the Verzuz battle concept but asserted she had well over 250 hits to play in such a con- test.
“You wanna have a hit bat- tle, bi*&h?” she said in refer- ence to Trina. “I got 285 hits to put on your a**, b**ch.”
