Former Laker Shannon Brown Arrested After Allegedly Firing Gun At People
SHANNON BROWN
Former Los Angeles Lakers guard Shannon Brown was arrested last week after al- legedly firing a gun at people after an open house mix up.
Brown, 34, reportedly pulled a gun on two people who entered his home May 2. The people told police they were looking for houses, and saw a for sale sign in front of Brown’s house. They claim someone told them to come in the house when they reached the door.
While Brown confronted the two, he eventually allowed them to leave. As they were leaving, the two individuals claim Brown fired 5-6 shots at them. Police found a shell cas- ing at the scene and arrested Brown for aggravated assault.
Brown was able to post bail two days later.

the New Orleans Saints. Could we see a little bit of Jameis Winston against his old team right in Week 1? With Sean Payton being a play-caller not afraid of mixing it up be- tween all of his quarterbacks, expect to see Winston step onto the field at least once against the Buccaneers.

Floyd Mayweather's
new goal in life is to make $1 billion through property, doubling the money he made as a championship boxer, his long-time business partner Leonard Ellerbe told In- sider.
Nicknamed "Money" through the latter part of his fighting career, May- weather became boxing's first $1 billion athlete after he received $200 million for stopping the UFC striker Conor McGregor on his feet in the 10th round of a landmark bout in 2017, Forbes reported at the time.
Though Mayweather won his first world title as a super featherweight in 1998, in the 2010s alone he made $915 million. A Compubox operator calculated that Mayweather earned $500,000 for every punch he landed in the 10 fights he had that decade — and he landed a lot of punches.
Mayweather now wants to be a billionaire two times over as Leonard Ellerbe, who is the CEO of May- weather Promotions, told In- sider that the 43-year-old is

focused on raising the valua- tion of his real estate portfo-
lio.
Insider met Ellerbe in
Las Vegas in late February, and asked which of these three scenarios May- weather would most be in- terested in:
• Returning to the ring as a pro boxer
• Co-promoting an event with the UFC and Dana White (like Conor McGre- gor vs. Manny Pacquiao)
• Or buying a skyscraper (he had an interest in One Vanderbilt in New York City)
"You never know with Floyd," he told us. "You've got to stay tuned."
Elaborating on property purchases, Ellerbe said: "He's consistently making in- vestments."
Goal In Life Is To Make
Episodes 7 and 8 of "The Last Dance" included the "tyrant" side of Michael Jor- dan's personality as a cham- pionship teammate, demanding the most out of those who played with him even if it meant a few punches or verbal insults along the way.
But wrapped in Episode 8 was a moment that illumi- nated a man's heartbreak fully coming to grips with feelings of missing his father.
Shortly after director Jason Hehir showed Jor- dan a clip of Gary Payton discussing his defensive suc- cess against Jordan, Jordan pivoted to say he had "a lot of other things on my mind."
Then, the ESPN documen- tary went to the Bulls' champi- onship-clinching win over the Seattle SuperSonics in 1996 – on Father's Day. The postgame interview, in which an emo- tional Jordan told inter- viewer Ahmad Rashād, "This one's for daddy," has been played before and tied to Jordan's legacy as a top mo- ment. Jordan's 1993 loss of his father, James Jordan, has also been well-chronicled.
As the music from José González's "Teardrop" began to fade out, Jordan was seen by himself in the locker room clutching and hugging the game ball, sob- bing loudly.
