MR. FRANCISCO GAINER
Homegoing services for Mr. Francisco Gainer of Tampa, who passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2016, will be held Saturday, February 20 at 2 p. m. at Northside Missionary Bap- tist Church, 5706 North 40th Street, Reverend Ricardo Robinson, pastor, with Apos- tle C. L. Holder, officiating. The interment will follow the service.
Francisco was born August 18, 1934 in Tampa, to the late Thomas Gainer, Sr. and Maria Gaynsue.
He was a member of Tem- ple of the Apostle Church, Inc.
He loved fixing cars and anything that was broken.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; sister, Nella Williams; son, Ervin Wash- ington, II; and grandparents.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his devoted com- panion, Claudia Washington; children, Francisco Gainer, Jr., Kenneth B. (Alicia), Way- tonia C. (Chevalier), Pat Gainer, Valencia W., and Ki- dada M. (Eric); grandchil- dren, Keith B., Jaimee, Rico, Nyla, Kiana, Emon, Ervin, III, Chevalier, Shemar and Naveah; brothers, L. J. Homegoing services for Mrs. Cherisse Terra Massey “Sherry” of Tampa, who passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2016, will be held Saturday, February 20 at 1 p. m. at St. John Progres- sive Missionary Baptist. Church, 2504 East Chipco Street, Rev. Dr. Bartholomew Banks, pastor, officiating. The interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Cherisse was born January 15, 1973 in Lorain, Ohio. Cherisse was a member of St. John Progres- sive M. B. Church.
She was an active member of Gamma Phi Delta Sorority, Inc., Delta Delta Chapter.
She was a loving wife, mother, daughter and friend to all who knew her.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and was de- voted to loving them and car- ing for them.
She also enjoyed shopping and decorating.
Cherisse was preceded in death by: her father, Alvin Flanders, Sr.; and grandfa- ther, Joseph Roberts.

A memorial service for Mr. Marcus Sutherland of Tampa, who passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2016, will be held on Saturday, February 20 at 11 a. m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Pastor Donald Lott, officiating.
Marcus Sutherland was born on May 19, 1929 in St. Mary, Jamaica, West Indies.
He loved all types of music, singing, helping peo- ple, and had an eye for fash- ion, and most importantly spending quality time with his family.
Marcus Sutherland came to the United States with a true entrepreneurial spirit and because of this passion he owned and operated a coin laundromat, yellow cab service, the Little Paradise Lounge and most impor- tantly Sutherland Construc- tion. Sutherland Construc- tion was instrumental in af- fording many the opportu- nity of gainful employment, but also an opportunity to re- shape lives.
He was preceded in death by: his wife, Vearl Suther- land; parents, James and Theresa Sutherland; and brother, Morris Sutherland.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his children, a loving devoted daughter and caregiver, Tonya Cole (Romeo), Joy Sutherland- Foushee, Cynthia Suther- land, Dietrick M. He was preceded in death by: his father, Robert Richardson; mother, Loces- ter Young Richardson; and brother-in-law, Lester Fuse.
He leaves to cherish his memories with: children, Mandel Richardson and Marlio Richardson; grand- children, Mario Deshawn Demons, Cierra Knight and Jada Richardson; great grandson, Jacoby Michael Brown; brothers, Robert L.
