MRS. BERTHA LEE ‘DOLL’ HAMILTON
A celebration of life ser- vice for Mrs. Bertha Lee (Doll) Hamilton, who departed this life to rest in God’s eternal hands, will be held on Saturday, February 20,2016at11a.m.atNew Hope M. B. Church, 3005 E. Ellicott Street, Tampa, with Elder Arthur Green, Jr., officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Bertha Lee Walters Hamilton was preceded in death by: her parents, Green and Annie Walters, Sr.; her husband of 40 years, John Henry Hamilton; sons, (infant) Arthur and James Charles ‘JC’ Hamilton; (infant) daughter Evelyn Hamilton; granddaughters, Pamela Hamilton Sanderson and Sophia Hamilton McCoggle; her brothers, Anthony, Lloyd and Green Walters, Jr. of Akron, Oh; her sisters, Alvenia McKenzie of St. Petersburg, FL; Willie Maude Lester of Montezuma, GA; Willie Mae Simpson of Atlanta, GA, Minnie Lee Oglesby, formerly of Tampa, and Akron, OH; sisters-in-law, Eula Nell Hamilton of Savannah, GA, and Mary Lucy Hamilton of Belle Glade, FL; brother-in-law James Hamilton; and several nieces and nephews.
She leaves a legacy of love with: her nine children, Mae Ruth Hamilton Hilliard (Charles), Thomas John ‘TJ’ Hamilton, Sr. (Serena), Melvin Hamilton, Joselean Hamilton Hayward (Robert), Martha Ann Hamilton, Van- derlyn Darlean Hamilton Davis, Jerome ‘Jeep’ Hamilton (Angela), Ronald David Hamilton, and Mark Avery Hamilton, Sr. (Angel); former daughters-in-law, Mable Hamilton Jones and Monica Harris Hamilton; grandchildren, Angela Hilliard-Wicks, Charlotte Hilliard, Charles Hilliard, Julia Hilliard Wiggins, Mechele Hilliard Chatman, Marciea Hilliard Murphy, Thomas John ‘J. Affectionately known as Doll to her family, she was born the fourth eldest of twelve siblings to Mr. Green and Annie Ruth Witchard Walters, Sr. on January 11, 1923, in Byromsville, Dooley County, Georgia. The family eventually settled in Mon- tezuma, GA, where she was educated in the public schools of Dooley County, completing the sixth grade.
She later met and married John Henry Hamilton in 1940 and to their union 12 children were born, two of which, Arthur and Evelyn, became God’s little angels after birth. The family moved to Belle Glade, FL, before moving and settling in Tampa, in 1952.
She was widowed after suffering the loss of her hus- band in 1980 and she also suffered the loss of another son, James Charles ’JC’ in 2009.
She enjoyed the simpler things in life and gave her best to her husband, children and subsequent grandchil- dren. She lived for her family and enjoyed spending time with them.
She took pride in sewing, cooking (especially Sunday dinners for her family), and shopping.
She was employed with Town’s Laundry & Cleaners (and was known) as the ‘best shirt presser’ in town, and retired after 33 years of ded- icated service.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 19, 2016, from 5-8 p. m. at Wilson Fu- neral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, with the family re- ceiving friends from 6-7 p. m.
Family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday at 10:45 a. m. for the service.

MR. JOHNNY FRAZIER
Homegoing celebration for Mr. Johnny Frazier of Tampa, who passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2016, will be held at 2 p. m., Satur- day, February 20 at Refresh- ing Spirit C.O.G.I.C., 3006 E. Ellicott Street, Tampa, with Pastor Clovis Dunbar, offici- ating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by: his father, A. J. Frazier, Sr.; mother, Pauline Carswell; brothers, A. J. Frazier, Jr.; grandparents, David and Minner Carswell, and Prince and Lucy Frazier; and several aunts and un- cles.
Mr. Frazier leaves to cherish memories of him with: his sister, Mary Frazier Hall; brothers, Carl Watson, Sylvester Pinkney and Dwight Stanley, all of Tampa; uncle, Herbert Car- swell of Philadelphia, PA; nieces, Aretha Anderson and husband, John, April Fra- zier, and Treanedra Fedrick and husband, Adrian, all of Tampa, Natasha Kennedy and Crystal Watson, both of Philadelphia, PA, and Amalia McCray of Tampa; nephews, Edward Washing- ton, Octavius Frazier and wife, Janice, and Jer- maine Hall, all of Tampa; a host of great nieces, great nephews and cousins; best friend since high school, Pastor Clovis Dunbar of Tampa; and a host of other sorrowing friends, church family and class mates.
Mr. Johnny Frazier was born on April 12, 1946 in Swainsboro, Georgia, to the parentage of A. J. Frazier, Sr. and Pauline Carswell and he was a longtime resident of Tampa.
His hobbies were collect- ing salvage and antiques, until his health began to fail.
He also had a love for lis- tening to sports on the radio and television, and loved being around his family.
Mr. Frazier served in the United States Army for three years and was honorably discharged.
He was a Clerk with the United States Postal Service. Mr. Frazier became a member of Refreshing Spirit C.O.G.I. C. and gave his life to Christ and was baptized
on April 20, 2014.
The remains will repose
on Friday, February 19, 2016 from 5-8 p. m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa.
Friends are asked to as- semble at the church on Sat- urday at approximately 1:45 p. m. for the service.
