MR. CHARLIE WILL ‘RED’ JONES, SR.
Homegoing celebration for Mr. Charlie Will “Red” Jones, Sr. who passed away on May 16, 2017 will be held on Saturday, May27,2017at2P.M.atHood Temple A. M. E. Zion Church, 3608 N. 26th Street, Tampa, Florida Pastor Bessie Mohead, with Pastor Kathy Lee Johnson, officiating. Interment will fol- low in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Jones was preceded in death by: his daughter, Janice Jones; his parents, Leroy and Anne Lee Johnson; brothers, Bobby Joe Johnson, Muham- mad Abdullah and brother-in- law, Terry Johnson.
He leaves to cherish won- derful memories and mourn his passing: his loving wife, Norma Jean Jones; son, Charlie Will Jones, Jr. and wife, Karen; daughter, Cathy; two step-sons, Kevis and Cory (Londa); grand- children, Timone, Kiara, Kiebler, Christopher, Lucious, Dana, Aaron, Robert, Terricca, Damion and Theira; a host of great- grandchildren; brothers, James Jones (Doris), Leroy Johnson, Maurice (Gwendolyn) and Jimmy Dean Johnson; sis- ters, Grace Johnson Chambers (Jeffery), Kathy L. Mr. Charlie Will Jones, Sr., affectionately known as “Red,” was born on April 18, 1941 in Camilla, Georgia to the parent- age of Leroy and Annie Lee Johnson. He was a lifelong res- ident of Tampa, Florida and was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County.
Charlie was employed with the International Longshore- men Association, Local #1402, for 40 years prior to his retire- ment.
There will be a viewing on Friday, May 26, 2017 from 5 – 8 P. M. at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida. Friends are asked to as- semble at the church at approx- imately 1:45 p. m. Saturday for the service.

Yonnie was born on October 31, 1958 in Tampa, Florida to the late Buford Gordon and Curtis- tine Knight Walker. She grew up in Sulphur Springs. She gradu- ated from Hillsborough High School in 1976 and went on to work in various manufacturing positions and most recently an employee with the Hillsborough County School Board.
Yonnie loved her family and cherished having them in her life. She cared deeply for her community and she served it well through her church and in outreach to those who were in need.
Church was an important part of Yonnie’s life. She was a mem- ber of Tabernacle of Hope. She had also previously served as an Usher at Springhill Missionary Baptist Church. She demon- strated her spirituality and love for God in the way that she treated others.
Visitation will be held on Fri- day, May 26, 2017, from 5 p. m. – 8 p. m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, FL. Friends are asked to assemble at the church at approximately 9:45 a. m. Saturday. In lieu of flowers, monetary contributions to assist the family will be ac- cepted by the Tabernacle of Hope Church, 6907 N. Nebraska Avenue, Tampa, FL.

MR. WILLIAM RHEA ‘BILLY’ CRUTCHFIELD
Funeral service for Mr. William “Billy” Rhea Crutch- field, 69, who entered eternal rest on May 17, 2017 in Tampa, Florida, will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at 11 a. m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida with Brother Perry Johnson, officiating. Military Honors by the U. S. Navy will follow. Interment will follow in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
He was preceded in death by: his parents Willie Rhea Crutchfield and Rose Ella Col- lier Crutchfield.
William is survived by: his daughters, Tomia Rhaynette Crutchfield of Atlanta, GA, Nikki Jannica Crutchfield of At- lanta, GA and Antoinette Rhea Crutchfield (Kevin) Bracey of Lexington, VA; his grandchil- dren, Michael Michaud Kyles of Atlanta, GA and Makayla Rhea Crutchfield of Lexington, VA; his sister, Carolyn Crutchfield (Arthur) Finley of Chattanooga, TN; his niece, Cheryl Renee Fin- ley of Chattanooga, TN, and nephew, James Lamar (Sher- londa) Finley of Atlanta, GA; his great niece, Madeline Louise Finley of Atlanta, GA.
William was born on De- cember 25, 1947 in Lebanon, Tennessee to Willie Rhea and Rose Ella Collier Crutchfield. A graduate of Howard W. Blake High School, Billy served the prestigious role of Yellow Jacket Drum Major in 1965 dur- ing his senior year. William later went on to serve in the U. S. Navy from November 1967 to December 1971 and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal.
After being honorably dis- charged from the Navy he at- tended Nursing School at Erwin Technical College and earned a career as a Licensed Practical Nurse from 1982 to 1997.
A fervent member of the Church of Christ throughout his life, William often served as the church song, scripture, and communion leader. William will be affectionately remem- bered for his sense of humor, knack for storytelling and pas- sion for reading. William also had a love for snack foods! His love for scripture is best eluci- dated by Deuteronomy 33:27, the eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the ever- lasting arms: and He shall thrust out the enemy from be- fore Thee; and shall say, De- stroy them.
Visitation will be held Tues- day,May30thfrom5-8p.m.at the funeral home. Friends are asked to assemble at the fu- neral home at approximately 10:45 a. m. Wednesday for the service.

MR. ARTHUR ‘CALDONIA’ ROBY
Funeral service for Mr. Arthur “Caldonia” Roby, who passed away on May 19, 2017 will be held on Saturday, May 27,2017,at9a.m.atNew Bethel Progressive Missionary Baptist Church, 3011 E. North Bay Street Tampa, Florida with Rev. Reginal T. Webb, pastor, officiating. Interment will fol- low in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Tommy and Cilla Kimble Roby; his wife, Juanita Roby; son, Earl Young; granddaughter, Juanetta Young; and brother, Oscar Roby.
Mr. Roby is survived by: his loving children, Cheryl Jackson (Eddie Smith, III), Michelle Roby and Ronald Young, Arthur Lee Roby and Ruby Roby; grandchildren, Yonce Jones (Alan), Andrea Gillard (Gerald), Anthony Keel, Ashley Peterson (Andy), Ebony Schoenfeldt (Mark), Alysya Rosas, Stephaun Jackson, Azana Banks, Solana Banks, Samariah Jackson and Jaylen Roby; great-grandchil- dren, Christopher Gillard, Earl Townes, Armond Townes, L’Tya Jones, Kam Jones, Jahbri Jones, Idrees Jones, Aliyah Jones, Nadia Keel, Myana Carey, Jonathan Carey, Gabrielle Noakes and Mason Peterson; a host of cousins, friends and very devoted and loving friends, Nathaniel Pow- ell, Ed Akins, Perry Sullivan, Stephen McFarlane, Andrew Coban, Greg Woodall and a host of other sorrowing relatives and friends.
Mr. Arthur “Caldonia” Roby was born June 5, 1921 in Quincy, Florida. He was a faith- ful member of New Bethel Pro- gressive Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed cooking and listening to his Gospel Hymns and Jazz Music. Mr. Roby was the original owner of Caldonia’s Bar-B-Que Pit for more than 50 years.
