MRS. DENISE M. VALDES
Mrs. Denise M. Valdes of Riverview, Florida passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2018. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, March 31 at2p.m.atNewHopeMis- sionary Baptist Church, 3005 E. Ellicott Street, with Pastor Larry J. Mouton, officiating. Interment will follow in Gar- den of Memories Cemetery.
Mrs. Denise M. Valdes was a native of Manhattan, New York, and a resident of Tampa for 60 years. She attended the University of South Florida and the University of Tampa and earned degrees in the field of Education. She was em- ployed as a Media Specialist for 30 years with the School District of Hillsborough County.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her loving children, Vincent Valdes, III, Tari (Cur- tis) Valdes, Keith Jackson and Joseph Valdes; grandchildren, Casey Claiborne, Brooklynn Williams, Bianca Valdes, Manuel Valdes, Javonte’ Valdes, Valencia Valdes, Joshua Davis, Gabrielle Valdes, Jessiah Valdes, Lon- don Davis, and Vincent Valdes, IV; great granddaughter, Brooklyn Valdes; sisters, Mar- garet Candles and Angelina (Stanley) Smith; nieces, Jea- nine Castellano, Alicia Castel- lano and Jerilyn (Allan) Smith; nephews, Robert Micah Castel- lano and Joseph Smith; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
The remains will repose after 5 p. m. Friday, March 30 at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue and the family will receive friends from 6 - 7 p. m.

A Celebration of Life service for the late Mrs. Theosice Arnold of Tampa, FL, who passed away on Thursday, March 22nd, 2018, will be held on Saturday, March 31st, 2018 at 11 a. m. at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, FL, 33605, with Pastor Clarence M. Nathan of New Vic- tory Baptist Church, officiating. The interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park Ceme- tery, 4615 E. Hanna Ave., Tampa, Florida 33610.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Tommy and Ruthie Viverette; beloved daughter, Judie Willis; five sis- ters, Jennie Ruth Luggett, Ollie Mae Jones, Annie Mae Pickens, Ida George Viverette, and Verna Gean Evans; four brothers and 2 sisters-in-law, John Henry Viverette, Tommy Lee (Cassie) Viverette, Either Jay Viverette and T. H. Buster (Ida May) Viverette.
She leaves to cherish memo- ries of her with: devoted hus- band, Jeffrey Arnold; two loving children, Jimmy (Katrina) Willis and Doris (Tony) Harvin; 8 grandchildren Tavona Jones, Katesha Crum, Laketta Willis, Alicia Smith, Jules Smith, Jeneca Willis, Devin Willis and Juqunda Willis; 17 great grand- children; brother, Edward Lee (Betty) Viverette; a host of nieces and nephews; sister-in- law, Tressie Viverette; a host of other family and friends.
Mrs. Theosice Arnold was the eleventh and last child born to the parentage of Tommie and Ruthie Viverette. She was born on February 14, 1943 in Neshoba County, MS. She was a devoted member of New Victory Baptist Church.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p. m., Friday, March 30, 2018, at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, FL 33605.

Barbara (aka, Barb) was the first of eight children born to the parentage of Gene and Mary Jenkins on July 20, 1945, in Tampa, Florida. She was edu- cated in the public schools of Hillsborough County. She was a public servant employee and worked several jobs, including school bus driver, Honeywell, Seminole Bingo, just to mention a few.
Barb was a member of New Greater Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, where she re- cently renewed her fellowship with God and man. Barb will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
There will be a viewing on Friday, March 30, 2018, at Wil- son Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida from 5– 8 p. m. with the family present to receive friends from 6 – 7 p. m.

MRS. JOANN FOSTER ‘JODY’ BLACKMAN
Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. JoAnn Foster Blackman (Jody), who passed on March 17, 2018, will be held on Satur- day, March 31, 2018 at 11 a. m. at St. John Cathedral, 3401 Bishop Eddie Newkirk Way (3401 E. 25th Avenue), with Pastor Dwight A. Mrs. JoAnn Foster Black- man (Jody) was born in Tampa, Florida, on January 17, 1958 to the parentage of Bon- nie Foster, Jr. and Josephine Ford. Mrs. Blackman attended the public schools of Hillsbor- ough County and earned her GED from Gary Adult School.
She was employed at PRT, Inc., Port of Tampa, and she was also a Longshoreman. Mrs. Blackman was a faithful member of St. John Cathedral, where she served on the Usher Board #1.
She married the love of her life, Mr. Lewellyn J. Blackman only seven short months ago on August 21, 2017.
There will be a viewing on Friday, March 30, 2018 at St. John Cathedral from 5 – 7 p. m. with the family present to re- ceive friends from 6-7 p. m.

MR. LIONEL DONNELL ‘BEAN’ MOORE
A Homegoing Service for Mr. Lionel Donnell “Bean” Moore, who went home to be with our Lord on March 18, 2018, will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2018, at 2 p. m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, with Pastor Antonio Hawkins of Exciting Faith Alive Church, officiating Eulogist. Lionel was preceded in death by: his sister, Sheryl Moore.
Lionel D. Mr. Lionel D. Moore, affec- tionately known as “Bean,” was born on March 31, 1983 in Tampa, Florida to the parent- age of Mr. Isaiah Moore and Mrs. Elizabeth Moore. He was the youngest of nine children. Lionel attended Paul R. Whar- ton High School in Tampa, Florida.
A precious individual in- side and out, Lionel was a “free spirit” who despite his per- sonal circumstances, consis- tently wore a smile on his face and would go above and be- yond to let others know they were loved and appreciated. Li- onel also had a love for art and created many beautiful, de- tailed sketches for his family members.
There will be a visitation at Wilson Funeral Home on Sat- urday prior to the service from 1 – 2 p. m. Donations are being accepted at Wilson Funeral Home to assist with Lionel’s fu- neral expenses.
